    I think one of the coolest things in hockey is the puck flying out of the net after a shot goes in. I do like the new shooting animations, but I think something that would make the game more authentic would be to make the nets springier, or change how the puck reacts when it hits the net. It's odd to me that this feature has never been implemented (as far as I'm aware) in any hockey game I've played, but it seems like something that could be implemented easily, and make the game more realistic.

    Why can't the NHL franchise leverage Madden's player growth feature? Anyone know if there's a reason why, or if there are plans in the future to do so?

    I love playing franchise in Madden solely because I can improve my players based upon performance... and unsure why NHLis different.

    Why do jerseys move like they are weightless? Bothers me on any close up replay or anything like that. It's so unnatural. This bother anyone else? Is there a reason it's like this?

    AI help

    Are there certain settings you all use in versus mode? (Forecheck settings and what not)

    My Defense are always caught flat footed, or the other team is straight up way faster.

    Offensively my ai is useless, never available for a cross crease when open, or behind the net, most of the time I just have to put it deep or throw it on net.

    meanwhile the opposition can just rush on down and the AI D doesn't pressure at all, so I'll cover the inevitable cross crease pass and they'll just cheese wrist it in every time or rebound it for a perfect rebound goal.

    I'm so very confused I've tried messing with settings and can't find a good balance.

    Just bought ‘20... BAP question/observation

    I'm playing as a goalie in BAP. Why, in the hell, are the pregame stats so fucked up? They aren't accurate at all to the stats I actually have.

    First regular season game and they show pregame stats that I have over 300 games played in my career with 163 wins...

    Secondly, why did my team all of a sudden pick up joe Thornton and Zdeno Chara after preseason ended, but I can't find it anywhere in the transactions or activity feed?

    Is this mode really that fucked up? (Feel like this is almost rhetorical)

    Be a Pro in this game is hard as shit to me playing goalie. I'll make some great saves just for my teammates to score on me themselves or have them instantly turn the puck over.

    Defensive AI doesn't cover the open man for shit, I am CONSTANTLY letting in wide open 1 timers cause my AI does literally nothing and if I don't cover the puck they'll score short-side every time.

    Possibly the worst of all, my team turns the puck over almost every possession. Those few times that they don't, they shoot the weakest backhand shots I've ever seen and essentially just turn it over to the opponents goalie.

    How many years of complete ass AI are we gonna have???

    Best settings/sliders to fix goalies?

    So I understand they nerfed the NHL20 goalies due to last year's goalies being to hard to score on but now the goalies can't stop a beach ball.
    I play only franchise mode in Allstar setting and most games end 7-6 or 7-5. My goalie let's in every one timer and I have McDavid scoring 4-5 goals a game. They also can't stop any cross crease pass one timer.

    I've tried adjusting the sliders to no avail. What can I do ?
