Posted: 26 Jan 2020 11:38 AM PST Anyone run a decent TWF hitting build? I see TWF's leveling other players, but their base checking stat is so low it's like dropping people with a sniper, dangler, etc. Even with heavy hitter 2 it doesn't seem like low/mid 70s hitting should be dropping people like that. Running it with brute strength 2 maybe? Anyone run a build like this? Curious what people choose for a set up. [link] [comments] |
GM Mode Coach and Staff Chemistry Posted: 26 Jan 2020 09:54 AM PST Hello people. I did an expansion team GM mode and I've been rebuilding for a couple years. I was looking to finally make the next step with plenty of great players (Lafreniere, Kakko, two med elite centers. I've gotten Oilers level lucky with the lottery) and a team that should be able to make the playoffs and I had the worst season ever going 23-52-7. I wonder what the hell the problem was and I realized that my staff chemistry was at 24% so I assume that's a big issue (Especially with goalies as my 85 overall Thatcher Demko had an .890 save percentage). Now since the offseason is coming, I'm going to need to wipe out all of my nhl coaching staff. How should I go about firing them and hiring new ones. Is there any precautions I should know about? Any glitches that can ruin my game? Any extra tips you know? Thank you in advance. [link] [comments] |

Why does my player sometimes freeze with the puck on his stick? Posted: 26 Jan 2020 08:34 AM PST Just got the game and have never had this problem in prior games. I think it might have something to do with my controller, which is also new, because sometimes it won't even let me sprint with the puck. Anyone else ever have a problem like this? I feel like my players have a mean case of the yips or something [link] [comments] |
What happened to my rank and points? Posted: 26 Jan 2020 07:22 AM PST So I haven't played chel in a while been playing other games. This morning I decided to hop on and play a few games and noticed that my rank was like 37, when originally I was in P3 almost maxed and my points were over 1000 and now I only have like 200. When I got on I had an update but other than that I dont know what's going on. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Jan 2020 02:24 AM PST Hopefully this is reaching the right sub/community. I tried looking on Google but didn't really have any luck. Basically all I want to know is what specific "skill" designates how well you are at fighting in be a pro mode? I can't tell if it is just strength or what. I normally play Center as a Sniper, so obviously I'm not really one to fight much based on my position, but I opt to fight and have been trying to up my fight game because I like to instigate and will fight if it seems fit. But most of the time I get wrecked. But I don't think it's because I don't know the controls. Been playing ever since NHL 13, and even when they improved the fighting controls, I understand how it works and I can work people over and dodge and all that. But for some reason it seems I keep getting knocked out and my punches get dodged a lot even though it feels like I'm fighting well. So I can only assume it's based on my RPG fighting skill set. Can't seem to find answers on Google. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 25 Jan 2020 02:50 PM PST Is there that big of a difference? I like 19 (I got it for free) but I do have extra cash to buy the newest one, but I only wanna buy it if it's worth it. I mainly play career and I'll probably hop into franchise mode once I know some more players and teams. Anyways thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Jan 2020 02:38 PM PST I'm in the AHL. on the thunderbirds. We started 4-0. We are now 6-7-2. Most of our losses come from how my last game ended. Up 4-1 heading in the third only to lose in shootout 5-4. We blow leads and blow them very badly. Any tips? [link] [comments] |
