    So i got banned in october for the name "DeepNCider" which some people are against and some aren't, don't really give a shit either way cuz im banned regardless lol. But the fact that EA is such a large company, and they don't even have legit customer service is fuckin insane to me. No phone number, you email their TOS people and i still haven't gotten a response to 4 emails i sent in october. You message them on twitter and facebook and they just tell ya that they are "backed" up. Well maybe if you focused on the racist names and the shitty people in the game you wouldn't be so backed up to answer real issues no? i've been playing EA games since back in Nam and it just blows my mind that they still don't even have real humans to talk to over the phone to solve issues. I've tried twitter/facebook/EA answers forum/ like literally you name it. To me, it's very clear they don't give a single fuck about us, just that we buy the shitty repetitive glitchy ass games every year. It's definitely unfortunate, i can't play apex, my kid can't play sims, i can't even get the shit beat out of me on online UFC. What do you think? I think they need to step the fuck up with their customer service and overall just everything. Maybe i'm wrong. But i wish boycottEA was a real thing because we deserve better as consumers in my opinion.

    This new retro event is basically pointless unless you have 10 gold collectibles laying around or have the master icon Gretzky/Lemuix and 3 gold collectibles. The new Hut Rush rewards don't give you any gold or icon collectibles to help with the retro sets. I will only be happy with this if they have a Beliveau upgrade set.

    Am I losing it? I had thought this was one of the bug fixes for the most recent patch; but after reading the patch notes again I don't see it included. Has it been patched? Or is there still no point in me starting a franchise.

    "NHL 94 Rewind" now available for free for XBox Game Pass subscribers

    In case you missed the preorder, you can now get it through Game Pass on the XBox. Supposedly there will be other ways to get it in the coming weeks, but details are scarce ("stay tuned because we'll have more opportunities to play NHL 94 Rewind in early December" - @EASPORTSNHL twitter)

    Edit: OK I guess I jumped the gun here. You can now also get NHL21+94Rewind+Retro jerseys in the new EA NHL Rewind bundle. Seems to be CA$85 (a lil steep IMO).

    NHL 94 Rewind is a neat little update of NHL'94 with modern rosters, as well as some interesting new features (e.g. players have individual skin tones). More here about the updates that have been made: https://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/20297-nhl-94-rewind-complete-list-of-differences/

    A couple big differences for 'experts' in the game:

    • They fixed the "weight bug" from the original which is what made light players like Roenick and Theoren Fleury so good and made big players like Mario Lemieux and Lindros kinda useless. This is a good fix so big guys like Ovechkin are effective in the game (while light players still maintain the skating advantages of the original game)
    • The player ratings listed in the game are now correct (speed, shot power, etc. They were just "in the neighbourhood" of the real value in the original. Note that each player can be hot/cold up to +/-9% each game, so you might want to sub players in/out based on their ratings..which you can now do accurately).

    A few disappointments...

    • The audio is delayed about 200ms (at least on XBox, don't now about PS). This seems to be an issue with the FMOD audio framework + Unity.
    • There's no built-in online play. (Supposedly it's a possibility: "If people want to play for longer durations of time and start to ask for more features to be added, such as online multiplayer, then I think we can have those conversations as well," Sean Ramjagsingh, EA NHL producer.)
      • On the other hand, you can play online on the PlayStation version using the SharePlay feature. Works well. If you have a PS4, join the "king of 94" community. No such feature on XBox.
    • They also seem to have introduced some bugs into the game related to editing lines, because I've been able to have two Mitch Marners on the ice at the same time :). Some people have reported the game crashing. Hopefully they update it to fix these issues...

    EA Needs to Change This

    I'm tired of having to redo the rosters for hours every time there's a trade irl or patch. When you merge your custom roster with the default roster, you lose the all of your changes except created players and teams. Why can't this be changed so you can chose what you want to use from your custom roster? And better default rosters could make up for this too. I'm tired of seeing Drysdale as a Med Top 4 69 Overall when he should be med elite and in the mid 70s

    Why have matchmaking if it doesn't work?

    So what am I missing? What is the point of matchmaking in HUT if it doesn't actually matchmake?

    I just bought this game yesterday I just tried to play my first HUT Online game with my generic HUT team with Josh Bailey as my only real player and I play vs a guy with Mcdavid, Mckinnon, Pasta, Panarin, Price, etc etc etc

    How is that matchmaking? Just standard awful EA Sports programming or am I missing something?

    Can I switch between stock and custom jerseys?

    If I go to stock jerseys for my team, for the Christmas sweaters for example, I won't lose the custom jerseys I've created, right?

    Be a Pro I can't change my number?

    No matter what number I set for my player in game it just shows up as 27. I even tried switching my number to 69 becuase there are no players in the NHL who wear it, but it still shows up in game and in the cutscenes as 27.

    Is there some story about it that I haven't got too or am I experiencing a glitch? I really don't like 27 on my jersey.

    Updating the rosters to get the reverse retro and afraid of losing my roster changes

    So, the last time I updated my rosters to get the new Calgary and Ottawa jerseys I lost all my roster changes. I heavily modify my rosters so this was a huge pain in the ass to do it all again.

    I understand the "merge roster" thing which literally doesn't work unless I'm stupid and am just doing it incorrectly. Anyways, I'd love to get all the reverse retros in my game but I'm lowkey terrified because I can't go through the process of updating my rosters to my liking again. it's a process that takes actual days and I don't have the heart to do it.

    Does anyone know how I can put this roster update into my game without losing hours worth of work? Thanks.

    Interesting team to pick up for a franschise and build up a dynasty - please help

    Hi guys, although Im coming from Czechia, I wouldnt like to play as Boston (Krejci, Pastrnak), but much rather to pick a weaker team and do some moves to make team competitive. I do not insist that there should be a czech player, actually I dont care at all. In past days though I was a big fan of Toronto and our defenceman Kaberle, also loved Gilmour, was even collecting his cards and Felix Potvin. I wonder, would You advice me to try it with Toronto and eventually which moves are nessessary to do or essential at this team as I stopped watching NHL closely for some time. This season with plenty of free time ill be back, with all the collecting, betting...things which were part of the fun. Would You advice me different team? Actually what might be an interesting project to try as a franschise? Im openedto all suggedtions, You may mention a team and let me know about the steps that might be essential to make it a powerhouse. Thank You all very much in advance and excuse my English please.

    NHL 21 Rewind Bundle now available

    Just got my XSX and had to Google if NHL is upscaled, apparently not. Even though on the case it says Xbox one and Xbox Series s/x, I was thinking it would upscale with an update or something but nope. NHL really doesn't get the love it deserves.
