Dump puck with hybrid controls? Posted: 29 Jan 2021 12:27 PM PST Hey, I'm trying to figure out how to dump the puck using hybrid controls for PKs. I know how to do it with pro stick controls (holding R1 and RS) but I can't seem to launch the puck when using hybrid controls. Does anybody know of an easy way to do it? [link] [comments] |
Question - NHL 20 Be a pro - OHL awards Posted: 29 Jan 2021 10:54 AM PST Anyone know if there is a bug in the end of seasons awards for OHL in NHL 20? I finished first in goals and points, but the second place won both awards :( :( :( [link] [comments] |

Be A Pro Injuries - What Happened? Posted: 28 Jan 2021 08:09 PM PST So in all the other NHL games the last 5-7 years when I was injured it would not only tell me right after the play, it would either let me go back in or keep me out. Then post game it would say something like " You have sustained an injury and are unable to play, the medical staff should have more information soon after they evaluate. " and then after simming an additional game or two you would then get a immersive little picture with a player in a doctors office being examined, with a text overlay discussing your injury specifically, what it is and how long you will be out and recovery time and such. So far in NHL 21 Be A Pro EVERY time I get injured no matter the severity ( head, chest , leg ) I merely am back out a few shifts later. And if I'm not out in a few shifts it's merely a one game injury in which I was never even told what it was. Is this some sort of bug?, or was the injury system removed this year for some reason?. I have seen multiple reports about this from months and months ago. Has it been resolved or fixed?. And if it has been is the injury information screen still there?. Because I'm hearing even when you recieve a severe injury that keeps you out for an extended period of time they don't even tell you what said injury was and for how long you will be out. So your just simming and waiting. Is that the case right now?. In NHL 16-20 I played Enforcer and tried to use my imagination and have as much of an immersive experience as I could. I would have to pick my fights wisely, and a single punch could change my players carreer in those games. I had broken knuckles, bones of the hand. Nose, jaw. And eventually after receiving multiple concussions I was out for an extended period of time and sent down to the AHL. That's realism, and I liked it. Now It seems as though I'm an enforcer that is immune from injury, and my experience on Be A Pro has lost all sense of risk and realism and immersion, and therefore most of it's fun for me. Posted: 28 Jan 2021 09:03 PM PST Hi All, Does anyone know how to fine-tune the sliders to create a middle group between Pro and All-star? I win almost every franchise game by multiple goals on pro, while losing by multiple goals every game on all-star. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
How do I get minutes on the powerplay in be a pro? Can I skip these ridiculous conversations? Posted: 29 Jan 2021 02:30 AM PST I just got NHL 21 recently. I'm a 76 overall. I have played 30 games or so and am averaging a point a game on AlTito's sliders for realism. I am on the first line, yet I've played zero minutes on the powerplay and I'm nowhere close to getting on the special teams unit. Between this and the ridiculous promises I'm forced to make to Panarin and my coach, BAP, once again, just doesn't seem to be worth playing. So is there any way to get on the PP? Is there any way to turn off the conversations? If not, could I somehow only play as an existing player (lafreniere) and do a career mode that way? I really enjoy controlling one guy, but BAP is a mess, and the online experience is barely even hockey. [link] [comments] |

Player and coach conversations Posted: 28 Jan 2021 03:11 PM PST Is there any way to turn this off? It makes career mode almost unplayable. Who in their right mind at EA thought this was a good idea? [link] [comments] |

Did the update break the MN Wild? Posted: 28 Jan 2021 05:29 PM PST I have started 5 new franchise modes with the Wild since the new roster update. In those 5 attempts, no matter the strategy I take (retool, rebuild, or stay the path), the Wild absolutely cannot get above 25 wins. I even grabbed All-Star caliber players with high chemistry, solid veteran presence, great goaltending, and a high chem coaching staff. Still no bueno. Yet the Iowa Wild will win the Calder cup 3 times in a row, no problem. This is beyond frustrating. Anyone else experiencing a similar issue? [link] [comments] |

What have you noticed about attributes effectiveness in EASHL compared to what EA say they affect. Posted: 28 Jan 2021 01:44 PM PST Does anyone feel that some attributes are more effective than others. Does anyone feel that there are attributes that it doesn't matter if you put points in a certain one it doesn't change or help anything? Does any think that on some attributes after a certain level of points (like over 90) doesn't help improve it? Do you think some attributes can do more or less things than EA says they do? Like stick checking helps you stick lift, poke, and less penalties but maybe they also help collect those pucks or helps block passes or something. Just making that example up. Things like faceoffs. Does something like size and strength help you win them better? Just wondering some of your options and observations are in that stuff. Sorry for the long post. [link] [comments] |
