    84 rated goalies letting in every single wrist shot and deflecting like 2 goals a game into their own net while the 79 rated goalie on the other side makes 29 god like saves? This is ridiculous, so sick of EA coding the AI to play amazing on the other team then my players act like they've never been on the ice in a competitive game before!!!!!

    I can't be the only one who thinks there's not enough difference in players. I feel like the default wrist shot accuracy is 87 for any top 9 guy—regardless of play style. Yes, you'll have your great 8 or McDavid who plays differently, but I feel like I only know who is on the ice by their name and number.

    I find myself playing 2K over chel because the players feel like actual players, and that's coming from a guy who hates basketball.

    I also see other sport titles have so many more attributes in them than chel. So that raises one question:

    What attributes would y'all like to see added or changed to make players feel like, you know, players?

    I'd love an actual one-timer attribute or individual attributes for dekes. If that's too much, just have loose puck and non loose puck (I have no better way to describe it than "stick handling").

    Deke speed. McDavid shouldn't pull a toe drag off at the same speed as Ross Johnston.

    Maybe a screen rating for players. Gerbe and Chara shouldn't have the same impact in front of the goalie.

    Pass accuracy (not just a blanket rating in passing but have different parameters. Think madden's qb pass accuracy stats.)

    An actual snapshot rating.

    Backhand ratings for shooting and passing.

    Backwards skating rating. (I know there's a slider for it but still...)

    Introduce hot zones like in 2K. Ovi's 1 timer should have a more lethal rating from the left circle than elsewhere based on ratings.

    Forehand and backhand face off ratings.

    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Is there a way to increase the amount of shots the AI team takes?

    I'm playing franchise mode and i occasionally play goalie BAP. This has always been a problem that the AI won't shoot the puck a lot. However, is there an attribute or slider that will increase the amount o shots the AI Team will take?

    I always wish the AI was shoot first and take a huge volume of shots for the realism. Encourage lots of point shots and deflections, that's what hockey is about. If the AI doesn't shoot a lot it just leads to horrendous GAA and SV pct in BAP and Franchise

    Is there a way to not have duplicate players In franchise mode when subbing teams for their alumni?

    So like for example Wayne Gretzky is on multiple teams is there a way to take him off certain teams so that he won't be duplicated 3 or 4 times And have different stats

    i bought the great 8 edition and am wondering when i will get my 16 HUT packs or how i redeem them? do i just wait and they will appear eventually or do i have to do something to get them? i'm new to NHL games so i don't know how this works just trying to get started. thanks!

    Do private matches in EASHL work for anyone?

    Trying to do an EASHL private match for the first time and it's not finding a match, I'm wondering if it's working for anyone else?

    Also, am I doing this correctly? -

    I'm going to Multiplayer then Drop In, setting the game to private, setting a password, side and server

    Then my friend is doing the same with the same password and server, and start matchmaking

    AI Difficulty: What Am I Missing?

    I play offline modes, mostly Franchise (sadly tons of bugs), where I have set up some really good sliders on All Star to have competitive games. In modes like Squad Battles, where there are no sliders however, I'm just stuck on Pro, and can't figure out what I'm missing.

    I win every game on Pro, no matter the team's rating or synergy load, and dominate any team lower than about 84, with games that are like 10-0. When I try All Star, however, every game is like 2-1, one way or the other... great for competitiveness, but not great for accumulating Squad Battles Points, for example. I can't seem to find a way to break through.

    On Pro, I'm usually scoring with one-timers and breakaways, but on All Star, the defense is always back, always clogging the front of the net, always cutting off cross-crease passes, and I can't outrace even the supposedly slowest of players. Teams that are packed with legends and Vasilevskiy, forget about it... just stay on Pro and take my 1000 points, or whatever.

    Just nothing I try seems to work, and there's just got to be something I'm missing. Sticking with Squad Battles, for example, people are doing something to build these scores and stretch out the levels. Have they just figured out what to do against the AI, and I haven't? I've read where people have said All Star is overtuned and Superstar is actually easier, but I've tried that a few times in HUT Rush, and don't agree, so am lax to try that in Squad Battles.

    Any advice? Links to posts I should read through?
