    This a Daily problem, it says that my connection dont work, still i have a perfect connection to my Playstation, tv, computer etc. How Come that the server are having problems 95% of the time playing? This never happens on other games so dont blame my internet connection. Getting quite annoyed!!

    So I just bought NHL 21 Great Eight Edition last night on my Xbox one S because it was on sale for $40 and so I already had a 10hour free trial from my EA Play membership so it didn't need to re-download but when I launched it and went into HUT I didn't get the 16 packs that it said I was getting with great eight edition so I checked the Microsoft store to see if I didn't download something but it said I had everything so I deleted and re-downloaded it overnight but it's still not working. What do I do?

    No interference penalties in WOC?

    Just played a game, the defenseman on their team kept destroying us when we didn't have the puck and never got called for it. We would be on a 2 on 1 and he would step up on the guy without the puck and no penalty call. Has this been happening to anyone else?

    Cheap tips for making Franchise mode more enjoyable

    So I've put many hours into Franchise mode since NHL 15 and figured it was time I posted what I've learned. First off, some people trade 5 first rounders for McDavid right away and that's fine. Other people don't even edit the roster and that's also fine. Everyone plays different ways. Also, I don't own NHL 21 so this is mostly going off of NHL 20.

    "Save Scum" - I hate it when I feel like I'm cheating the system, but the system is broken. Turn auto save off and you can control things better. Sure, you could win every game this way, but that's not why I do it. I use it for the opposite. I hated when my rebuilding team would sneak into the playoffs and win the cup. You can use this for a lot of things. I also like to keep a save on day 1 so I can restart without needing to reroll again. Making saves on key days (day 1, draft day, offseason, ect) can help you out if you want a fresh start with the same league.

    Leadership/Morale - Most people play without this, but it really does make the game more fun. Bad teams play bad when everyone is lowered from losing and good teams get better. It's super cheesy, but I like to build around 4 or 5 players with leadership. Getting here can be tricky, but once you do you don't need to worry about it really. Using the Red Wings as an example, I like to start with Larkin and one other top prospect as a leader. After this, you can use the save scum to reroll the next draft class. Like I said, super cheesy. Save around Sep. 11th and reload. Scout the top 5 or 6 prospects and sim about a week. If you get "leadership" in the skill page or the scout note page make a new save. Turn off injuries, waivers, ect and sim the entire season. You can interview the player and see if he is a leader. If he is, sim the entire offseason and make sure he fits your team. Leave without saving and load the save you made after scouting him.

    The League - Every new file is different. Players reroll morale, line fits and other stuff every time. Since coaching has been added, each league also has a different meta of coaches. It might be smart to make sure your key players fit into one of the 3 or 4 different coaches systems. My first play had no coaches with umbrella PP. My current one has none with overload. Always look before sinking into the file.

    Coach System - If you can't tell, I'm crazy. At first, I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect fits. It matters, but don't go crazy over it. It's nice to have 2 pairs of forwards that click and 1 or 2 dmen with pinch/cycle (the only useful dman stats after year 8) but don't stress over it. Forwards get +5 with PWF, SNP and PLY. Dmen get +5 with OFD and DFD. TWF and GRN work best on the PK and OFD help the PP, but it isn't as important as 5on5 for whatever reason. New dmen prospects can only have pinch/cycle or pinch/shoot and I've never seen a good coach with pinch/shoot. Much like coaches, every league has a meta of players. All new forwards (made by the CPU) have one of 5 or 6 different sets. Dmen has one of 3 or 4. Just like leaders, once you have a core that clicks you can fill the rest in and have fun with it.

    Timing - The game decides the draft order when generating the next draft class around Sep. 15th each year. The game also can boost your players the day awards are given right after the NHL and AHL cups are won. I don't like rerolling the boost, but if you wanted your Med Elite center to turn Med Franchise for example, you could just save scum the day before the cups are won.

    I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but if people like this I could add more. If I wasn't clear enough on some stuff I can explain if you ask.

    Every time a defenseman on my team takes a penalty, he's replaced with a forward on the PK instead of another defenseman, so on the PK I have 3Fs and 1D when it should be 2Fs and 2Ds. And it's not like I can just change lines to fix it. It happens for the ENTIRE penalty time. I need to wait the entire 2 minutes for it to go back to the normal number of forwards and defenseman.

    Have you guys encountered this glitch? If so, is there a fix that you know of?

    Got injured the game before playoff (Be a pro) ... 60 days out.... (playing full season with legit 20minutes period)

    So I'm quite fan of simulation mode, so I play 60 minutes game in Be a pro and full seasons... So I just played my first season in my first nhl game ever! something like 68 games since I'm in the minor leagues. Was playing real time 20 minutes per periodes. had around 25minutes of ice so a game was about 30 - 40 minutes with all the intermissions.

    I was getting really hype on reaching my first playoff ever after playing a full season and playing around 50 hours in this mode.Then 2 games away from the playoff 3 minutes left to the second, I get hit and I'm out for the rest of the game. I dont play the next game cause I'm under evaluation. Then the game tells me the schedule for the playoff is now out!! And then the second message is the game telling me I'm out for 60!!! DAYS!!!.... 60 DAYS!

    Edit : My Team lost in round 2, 4-3 ....

    Title speaks for itself. Half the choices are just awful. I don't care about quantity if most of them are low quality. My personal favorites are drag, swipe, archer, and silence.

    Ok firstly to subreddit mods. Add topics for questions and or discussions. (First time as a mod?)

    I need haaalp with the best camera settings for BaP. My son messed with the setting and it took me a while to figure out how to change it from colour blind mode, but i cant seem to get my camera setting right.

    The issue i am having is if the puck is deep (offense or defense) and its a line change, skating towards the bench i go off screen. Often missing the bench and skating right past. The camera just doesnt follow me.

    Ofc if its not during a line change the camera zooms out as i move away from the puck.

    Is there any fix for this? Also is there a way to increase the brightness, length and overall visibility of the indicator telling me to go to the bench?

    Sometimes i feel like it disapears, and because the game always has my goal at the bottom, it confuses me as to which side the bench is and i often go to the wrong side.

    Im a gamer, and a once a decade hockey fan. I judge this based as a video game. Not a game of hockey.

    Is there a way to make goalies come out more?

    It seems like when I clear the puck on a PK the opposing CPU goalie will come out almost every time and save them 5-6 seconds of time by not making them skate all the way back. My goalie will not touch a puck on a PP unless it hits him in net. Is there a button to push or a setting to change which will have him help more?
