- Can someone help me understand Franchise Mode?
- BaP Goalie - Figured out how to get more shots against but you're not gonna like it.
- Tell me ice tilt isn't real. 7/10 goals were cross creases. Which I usually don't mind, but when I have multiple players in the slot defending it I have an issue. Not to mention every pass I attempt is taken away by a cpu player back checking from out of the screen. I hate this game so much.
- Is it possible to get injured for more than 1 game on default settings?
- Do you think We will get NHL rewind with NHL 22?
Can someone help me understand Franchise Mode? Posted: 17 Mar 2021 07:47 AM PDT I'm a big hockey fan, used to play as a kid/teen, and watch regularly. I've played a lot of NHL games in the past but never Franchise Mode. I finally decided to take the dive in 21. I feel like a freaking idiot though. I have no idea how drafts work, or what I should be looking for. I was playing as the Bruins, finished a season, and in the offseason it was not clear what to do, what was expected, or why anything was happening. I'd scouted some players during the season, and during the draft I drafted them, but I guess I assumed that meant they would be on my team or in the AHL or something, and they weren't. Then both my goalies disappeared from my team. Rask and Halak. They didn't retire, and nothing in the game I could find said that their contracts were ending. The only notification I got was that 3 of my AHL guys were expiring and I didn't want them anymore anyway. Then suddenly the game said "whoa you don't have enough players" and my team was freaking gutted and players were missing. This really really killed my enthusiasm. I liked the rest of the Mode until the draft then it just felt like I had no clue what to do, why, or what my goals were. There was no tutorial that I saw, no explanations, nothing. Help? BaP Goalie - Figured out how to get more shots against but you're not gonna like it. Posted: 16 Mar 2021 10:42 PM PDT First time playing goalie in BaP and instantly shots against is a problem. Been trying to find a solution since I started playing. Tried every slider. Played longer periods, but let's be realistic, I'm not playing 2 hour games. Nothing works consistently. As I'm sitting here on the penalty kill getting blasted by shots, light bulb goes off. There's a slider under penalties called "cpu teammate penalties." Penalties will also add length to the game dependent on your penalty time scaling slider. So you could do 3 minute periods but every penalty be ½ half real time. I haven't tried it yet, I'm writing this as I'm thinking it up. Might not be too brilliant just because you'll be shorthanded, but ehhh, who knows. Lol. Edit: I was already in the 2nd period when I had this thought and my settings are superstar, 5 min periods and aggression to 85. There was 2 penalties before I bumped the "take penalties" slider up and like 14 shots. Mostly from the kill. I progressively bumped the penalty slider up until eventually I had it at 100. They never took a penalty after I adjusted the slider? I'm wondering if I also need to change the frequency certain penalties are called as well. Idk. Stay tuned and find out! [link] [comments] |

Is it possible to get injured for more than 1 game on default settings? Posted: 16 Mar 2021 07:16 PM PDT I'm genuinely wondering because it hasn't happened. Even with my 5'7" playmaker it's never happened and I get injured plenty of times for the rest of the game, but it always puts me back in next game. [link] [comments] |
