    Lost another one with 2 seconds left in the third. I managed to tie the game twenty seconds earlier when his goalie passed the puck to me with a wide open net. I knew my fate was sealed, despite a cross crease attempt by me on the ensuing face off, his goalie kicked the pass away (of course.) His player picked it up, came down the left wing, had his teammate in double coverage, passed anyway and buried it passed my unsuspecting (if not unconscious) goaltender (of course). There is a competitiveness engine apparently, but you can't help but feel how corny it is when I know what is going to happen before my opponent crosses the blue line. It's just getting old

    Best mode to mix and match current and former players?

    Hey,

    So I was a huge hockey fan in the 90s-00s, and I love the idea of being able to play with some of the greats from those eras. Besides playing NHL 04 again, which mode would I be able to do this in, besides potentially spending tons of money in HUT?

    For example, I still play NHL 17 once in a while and there is some Draft Champions mode where I can draft 12 players and play a few games with them. I understand this doesn't exist in NHL 21 though. My favorite player growing up was Brodeur, is it possible to obtain him in a mode like the current NHL 21 HUT without an insane amount of grinding or spending tons of money? Thanks!

    edit: And I prefer to play offline only.

    Can someone explain how the online points system for wins and losses works?

    Playing Threes. When you win you usually win somewhere between 200-300 pts, regardless of the score 7-6 or 7-0 doesn't matter. When you lose, you lose 500-800 points, again, regardless of score or performance. If you happen to have a bad night and lose a few in a row, it's nearly impossible to climb back up to the next badge level, as one loss has you needing to win exponentially more games to make up for it. Is there some kind of logic behind the points system? Something you can do besides win to earn more points during a game?

    I am a goalie. I just got my shutout, I didn't get first, second, or third star but to be fair Sasha had a four point game, and so did Hubey so it made sense and since I only allowed around 18 shots it made sense again. However they interview me and I'm given two choices. I can either promise my next game is a W, or promise my next game will be yet again ANOTHER shutout. In both scenarios I lost -25 team likability. Okay, but why though? Why give me two choices where my teammates dislike me? Undefeated goalie, rookie, under 1.6 goals allowed, = lets hate him?

    Playing Online Vs mode on PS5, sometimes I will accidentally pull my goalie and then I'm unable to put him back. What is the command to un-pull a goalie?

    Goal song change

    How do you change goal songs in franchise mode ? Even if it's using another teams goal song and not importing any ? For example , using the hurricanes goal song for the NJ devils .
