CPU not getting any shots on net? Posted: 26 Nov 2019 08:42 AM PST Tried both using the normal sliders as well as using sliders that I've found online playing 10 minute periods as a forward in the OHL yet the other teams Ai seems like they can hardly ever get a shot on net? Even when I sim to the next shift the cpu just can't get a shot on net at all. Is there a setting I can change so both my team and my the other team when simulating can actually shoot pucks on net? I'm getting tired of ending games 27 shots to 6 shots [link] [comments] |
I recently got NHL 20 and I’ve been having a great time with it so far! Posted: 25 Nov 2019 11:33 PM PST This is the first time I've played an NHL game in years and it's definitely my favorite game to play at the moment! I'm complete ass at the online modes but I still find the modes really interesting. Be A Pro is also super fun to play! [link] [comments] |

Are everyone else’s Franchise rookie drafts as overpowered as mine are? Posted: 26 Nov 2019 06:10 AM PST I've started a franchise and I'm a few years in but I'm not sure if I even want to continue because the past few drafts have been SO loaded it's not even fair. From pick 1-17 there were 80+ overalls and most of them had medium elite. I don't find that realistic whatsoever so idk if it's just a very good draft class or if they overpowered the shit out of them please lmk [link] [comments] |
Can you see game summaries after simming? Posted: 26 Nov 2019 09:10 AM PST In Franchise mode I find I can see the results of a game but I can't figure out how to see the game box score or summary. Am I just missing where it is, or did they really not think people would want to look at the game summaries? [link] [comments] |

Unending Roster Management Pain Posted: 26 Nov 2019 12:27 AM PST I don't know what I'm doing wrong with my rosters but every new roster update manages to break something. Right now, I'm having to rebuild my entire CAP/CAT after deleting one too many Custom rosters (my fault, but also not my fault - it wouldn't have happened if my game didn't constantly ruin everything, as noted below). I've gotten most of it reassembled, but now CAP players that should be in the draft window simply don't show up, where they used to in previous updates. Sometimes in the merge, CAPs end up losing any of their stat changes and revert to 50 OVR, though it doesn't happen every time like the CAT problem. To start: Merging rosters just flat out never works for me. I have a roster I saved 11/08. When I merge it with the 11/22 update, every Custom Team loses its settings and "reverts" to a basic EASHL setup (the jerseys are a flat black, the entire arena is just the EASHL arena, etc.) and no amount of tinkering restores it. I have to just redo the entire team from scratch in order to get the custom team back. I think I've had all of 2 roster merges actually work, but they were early in the update cycle. Related, any swap from one roster to the next requires a full game shutdown in order to not be corrupted in some way. If I move from the merged profile (let's call it Custom Roster 2, made 11/26) to an earlier roster (my 11/08, which we'll call Custom Roster 1), all of the CAP/CAT data is either flat out missing, or exhibits similar issues to the result I get from Custom Roster 2. Restarting the game, however, fixes it. NHL19 never had this kind of issue, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong (or how EA messed it up). Finally, and I'm fairly certain this is on me for using a corrupt (at this point) roster, almost every CAP I try to insert into a new Franchise mode (32-team Default Roster) by adding them to the draft pool... just doesn't show up. This is brand new behavior, happening only since the 11/22 update, and it's not consistent (for example, I have Alex Turcotte, Cole Caufield, and Spencer Knight as CAPs with draft eligibilty. Only Spencer Knight shows up in the draft). I've even matched every player's Details (excepting name) and still only Spencer shows up. I've gone ahead and uninstalled the game, with hopes of bringing back some data from the PS cloud (though maybe that's the root cause of it all, at this point?) but I'm curious to see if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, how you've resolved it. Posted: 25 Nov 2019 02:51 PM PST Does anyone elses game freeze when a trade is accepted? If so does anyone know how to fix it? [link] [comments] |
Changes to game mechanics in EASHL? Posted: 25 Nov 2019 02:47 PM PST I play EASHL pretty often. I hopped on last night to play a couple of games, and the skating seemed different—it seemed better! My player was more agile than usual. Was the a recent update for EASHL that corrected the skating? Or did they make changes to player load outs? Or was there no update at all? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Nov 2019 02:28 PM PST So I have 19 and only play be a pro and franchise mode. Is there a major difference to franchise or be a pro mode in 20? [link] [comments] |
