Be A Pro Settings: Blend between fun & realistic? Posted: 27 Nov 2019 10:14 AM PST I'm trying to find a blend between fun & realistic. I'm pretty new to the NHL games, but I've had a blast playing NHL 20 so far. My favorite mode is Be A Pro so far, but the issue is that I keep having 10-0 games pretty much every game. Currently playing on semi-pro since I'm new. I tried upping the difficulty to pro, but I just end up getting blown out by my opponent. If anyone has any slider settings they have that are a good blend between fun and realistic, I'd be grateful to see it! [link] [comments] |
Teammate AI is terrible. Are there any settings to fix this? (Be A Pro) Posted: 27 Nov 2019 09:33 AM PST The teammate AI is absolutely garbage. If I'm wide open, I don't receive the one timer pass. If I have 3 guys draped on me, I get a shit pass that gets intercepted. Is there a way to fix this? [link] [comments] |
Why doesn't the AI adjust based on player types? Posted: 27 Nov 2019 09:24 AM PST In Be A Pro mode, I'm a LW playmaker. I got drafted first overall by the Islanders. At 18yo and 76 overall, I have worked my way to being on the first line of the Islanders. Great, right? Except my linemates are Barzal and Ho-Sang, who are both also playmakers. Barzal's shot % is below 2 lmao. All 3 of us are just passing the puck around as if our lives depend on it, so I end up shooting the puck more because they won't. I will pass it to them in the slot, and rather than try a shot on the net, they will pass it back to me almost immediately. It's like one-timer passing. I'm continuously told that I need to get my offense going, but it is fucking impossible with those players as my linemates. Barzal has passed back on a breakaway!! On the second line, I was a playmaker with two snipers, and we lit it up which is why I got promoted. On PP1, it's 3 playmakers forwards too, with 2 snipers on PP2. EK65 has the most PP1 goals. Why isn't the AI coach programmed to take player types into consideration? 3 playmakers is a bad combination in both ends of the ice. In franchise mode I always try to have a sniper, playmaker and PWF or 2WF in a line for best results - you'd think the AI would be programmed like that too. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2019 08:27 PM PST I dont know if the fighting system really needs any sort of real attention BUT I would like to be able to do something more than flail at a player in multiplayer when the other person just holds R2. It feels like a dud of a moment when a big hit leading to injury or shot on goalie after the play just leads to a non-fight like that [link] [comments] |

Low save percentage (franchise mode) Posted: 26 Nov 2019 09:35 PM PST Playing on Superstar (full sim - 4 mins) aggression slider and ai difficultly to the max, still i'm only facing max 20 shots against, and sometimes the ai scores 3 goals on less then 10 shots. My goalies have a combined 24-11-4 record but with an ugly .864 SV% and a 2.13 GAA. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2019 05:44 PM PST So I've been playing one season for the last few months. I got bored and decided to start another. I thought my settings were exactly the same but my players feel like they're skating in quicksand and their turning radius has skyrocketed. Am I just on different settings and I just have to figure out what to change back or was there some sort of update since I started the first season?? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2019 08:51 PM PST I saw one other post about this. For a few weeks now whenever I try to startup 19 the game gets to the point of almost loading the menu then just freezes and crashes. I haven't done anything different with my Xbox to cause this that I know of...tried reinstalling and hard resetting to no avail. Anyone know why this might be happening? [link] [comments] |
Was NHL 2000 (PC version) the first EA NHL game to have the arena go dark in the beginning? Posted: 26 Nov 2019 06:35 PM PST I know the arena goes dark in the beginning if you use the right graphical settings. I don't think such graphical settings exist in NHL 97 and I haven't played the PC versions of 98 or 99. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2019 12:26 PM PST PS4 shows that only 1.7% of players have the Bronze achievement for winning a Ones Eliminator Tournament. Glad I'm not the only one who can't pull it off. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2019 01:51 PM PST Does the AI ever fight each other in be a pro? I never seen it happen and I'm just actually curious about this [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Nov 2019 02:56 PM PST Can you play online vs with 3 people on nhl 20? My friend and I used to play online vs so we could play together against the cpu on nhl 19. I just never got to try it with 3 people and wanted to know before I bought the new game. [link] [comments] |
Which game has the best drafting? Posted: 26 Nov 2019 02:09 PM PST I'm looking to do a franchise rebuild and was wondering which game has the best possibility to draft players in the later rounds so im not constantly trying to trade for first round picks to make the nhl [link] [comments] |
