    Hey guys, as I don't have NHL 20, yet am interested in Hockey and especially the German players, I wanted to ask you if anyone of you could be so kind and tell me the current ratings of some german players like Drai, Kahun, Greiss, Grubi or Seider.

    NHL Addition Ideas, These are just some ideas I have, some realistic, some just beyond wishful thinking. If you have any additions or add-ons just comment them.

    - Addition of a Badge Type System -

    Some Badge Ideas (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) along with a player who could be given them

    Edge Master (McDavid)

    • Tighter Turns
    • Pick up more speed during crossovers
    • Quicker smoother transitions

    Footwork (Crosby)

    • Good at using their feet to trick defenders
    • Kick pucks to stick from bad passes
    • Really good at things such as walking the blue line

    Dirty Dangles (Kane)

    • Fast stickhandling
    • Smoother deking

    Hockey IQ (Any smart player)

    • AI makes better passes and shots
    • Better positioning

    Net Front Presence (Gallagher)

    • Makes tipping the puck easier
    • Draws penalties from being interfered with by defence

    Power Play QB (Carlson)

    • Looks for open man on PP and cycles efficiently

    Agitator (Bertuzzi)

    • Brings up the energy of the team
    • Can aggravate the opposing AI, making them perform worse

    Half Wall Hero (Ovechkin)

    • Upgraded One Timers from Slot
    • Great for any shooter on PP

    Veteran Presence (could be given to a lot of veterans who are looking to win in their final years)

    • Takes discounts on contract to join winning team

    Young Gun

    • Wildcard badge that could cause guys drafted early or late to step right into the NHL within their first couple of years, and come out flying.

    Snap Shots (Matthews)

    • Upgraded Snap Shot
    • Score from farther out with it

    Backhand (Crosby)

    • Upgraded Backhand
    • Able to pull off from farther out

    - Presentation -

    Realistic Crowds

    • If you're playing a team in last place and you're team is a rebuilder, I don't think the arena is gonna be packed to the rafters

    Skippable Interviews

    • Adds something to do after a game of Franchise Mode or Be a Pro, make them skippable unlike the Player of the Game Cutscenes.

    Game Introductions

    • Have warmups, show them walking out, anthems (HOLD A/X TO SKIP)

    Arenas

    • I am so tired of seeing the same arena for almost every team not in the NHL. Even if they're not realistic just make an effort in changing them a bit

    Equipment

    • Custom Sticks - Longer = better poke-checks, Shorter = better puck-handling, Curves and Flex, maybe if you change it up, you can test it out in practice until you're used to it. Maybe you wanna change the colour of the sticks, maybe you wanna use a Red Nexus or a white CCM Tacks, add a flag or team logos. Also make the graphics for sticks look right for each hand.
    • More tape jobs (Pastrnak, Fiala, Panarin, Lindros, Orr, Klima, Sharp, or other unique tape jobs) use puck marks on it like Kane or Ovi. It's not much but it's the little things.
    • Custom Skates - Maybe I wanna change up the edges of my skates to see how it feels, maybe add in a cone drill in. Change up the colourway of the skates, look like Fedorov.

    - Gameplay -

    There is gonna be 900 other posts on how to improve AI.

    • Custom Sliders/Sharing

    Intensity

    • There is a major difference between a playoff game and a preseason game.

    - Be a Pro -

    Ability to start in any year since the NHL began.

    • I know this is a huge idea and somewhat ridiculous, and I think it'd be nearly impossible but it would make the game mode so much fun
    • You could try and be the first Stanley Cup Champion, break records before they're even records. Compete with Gretzky and the Oilers in the 80s, take down the 90s Red Wings, etc.

    Start in Europe or College

    • Even though they won't add the NCAA, make like 15 fake schools we can start at.
    • Play in SHL, NLA, Liiga, DEL, etc. Compete in the Champions League

    World Juniors and World Championships

    • Even if there isn't IIHF permission to use the tournaments, make EA titled ones.
    • EA World U20s and EA World Championships, with updated custom jerseys.
    • Maybe you're a superstar prospect from Ukraine, can you get your team into the top division of the World Juniors and next year upset the world by winning it all?

    Practices

    • Having a practice once a week to help develop yourself further could be fun. Could turn them off too if they are a nuisance.

    Meetings

    • Played like shit? Coach wants to meet with you.
    • Pissed off a teammate? Captain/Veteran wants to talk with you.
    • Not meeting expectations? GM wants to meet with you.

    Sponsorships

    • It'd be cool to be approached by CCM, Bauer, Warrior after being drafted or doing very well and them offering you money to sign with them and be required to use their equipment.

    Hall of Fame

    • Career Tracker that shows how close you are to getting into it. Probably the easiest thing on this list

    Lockout

    • League having CBA issues? You could sign a deal to play in Europe until it's resolved, maybe it happens once or twice during your whole career.

    Custom Teams

    • I wanna play on my custom team as their superstar player

    - Create a Team -

    • More Choices for Jerseys, Arenas, Logos, etc. Honestly every year they should just add in more.

    - Commissioner Mode -

    • You can change the rules, the way it simulates, everything.
    • You can control all teams, or just 1.
    • Custom Draft Rosters
    • Custom Teams and Players
    • Ability to use any team in the game, create a world super league.
    • Fantasy Draft
    • Maybe you want 8 divisions of 6 teams and a 32 team playoff format. It's all up to you.

    - GM Connected -

    • #1 Most Requested Addition to the Game
    • Have Owner Mode automatically off to simulate faster
    • Custom Teams
    • Fantasy Draft
    • Ability to simulate all games that aren't played against other members of the league to speed up seasons.
    • League Commissioner decides things like how the sliders are set, scoring engine, and rules.

    Be a pro

    Does the height and weight really effect your player(stats and gameplay wise)as much as it does in eashl? I was thinking to do a 6'0-6'1 sniper build and I'm not sure if the height and weight matters as much as it does in eashl.

    Hello Is there a regen system for players that retire during a franchise mode? There was a system like that in PES games where players would retire and then could pop again at like 16 years old with lower stats but pretty good potentials. Is there a system like that in NHL? Could be cool for legendary players like Gretzky, Lemieux, etc...

    I know its a licensing issue to get the actual goal songs for each team. Surely this company has enough funds to cover the costs. At one point, the game did have a few of them. But NHL 20 has zero. What ever happened to EA Sports, if it's in the game, it's in the game motto? Would make the game more authentic if the actual songs for each team were played.

    So I have no notepad app and am curious for other players' input so I'm going to keep a running wishlist here with ideas that come to me that id like to see in NHL in the near future. So far I've mostly just thoughts for Franchise/Be a pro but will expand later and keep editing this. Feel free to comment on what I've noted or add your own inputs (I might throw them on the list here for some more input). Hope you all enjoy my thoughts so far :)

    • Jersey retirement maybe even with (skippable) ceremony before selected home game
    • Offers to manage international teams as in FIFA

    Trouble shooting.

    Anyone having a lot, and I really mean A LOT, of trouble shooting? 99% of the time I'll try to shoot on the rush/slapshot after a faceoff, and the player never shoots, he just stops moving. Never happened before, haven't changed anything. I shoot a lot so this is killing my fun a bit tbh. If anyone has experienced this and has some advice, I'd appreciate

    For the love of all things holy, did everyone and their moms get HUT packs for Christmas?

    In the past 3 days in rivals I've played people with 93, 92, and 94 overall teams. I know the game mode is pay to win, but it's so fucking frustrating recently. They've got legends out the ass, and Crosby/McDavid winning every faceoff. I feel like I can't compete with my free squad, and it's not even that bad. Just feels like the snipes from above the circles and passes getting through defenseman on cross-creases are happening more than ever.

    BUG: No Goal Song playing in Franchise Mode

    So I started a franchise mode with an expansion team and customized everything, including the initial goal song. After playing a couple of games I decided to change the goal song to another one. Now, no matter which one I pick there is no goal song that plays after a goal. Does anybody know a potential reason/fix for this?

    Need some help with the camera

    I looked it up but nothing really helped. When Im playing drop in the camera moves where the puck is not where I am. Sometimes it doesn't do that but I don't know how to fix it. I play overhead and auto zoom is off.

    Pulling a High End Card - What Do You Do?

    I just pulled the 93 Overall Zetterberg Winternational card! Probably my best pull, maybe ever?

    The golden question here is do you use this card to upgrade the rest of your team or do you keep it? For a little insight, the rest of my team ranges from 84-87 overall. I do have a 91 overall vrana from the Christmas pack.

    Can’t win faceoffs any longer against AI?

    Yeah okay so all out of sudden I'm unable to win any faceoffs. Whole games go and I get 0 won faceoffs. Does anyone know what's up? It used to work great no matter the grips, but now I can't push anyone or win.. it started happening after I did the faceoff-tutorial? Help?

    And what's also up with the goal celebrations? I recall being able to do a lot of different things in NHL 12, even ride the stick (plus there was a longer celebration-time).. now it's like barely 5 seconds :( what are even the controls?? Can't find it anywhere, compared with the old games..

    AND THE MOST FUCKING STUPID THING, I TRY TO COVER SHOTS AND DIVE, BUT THEN THE OPPONENT AI SKATES INTO ME RIGHT WHEN I DO IT AND I GO FOR TRIPPING?? I've never had any other penalties than tripping and fighting? The fuck is this game even?
