New Hockey Fan. Need Line Advice Posted: 16 Dec 2019 10:52 PM PST I'm new to being this deep in terms of my interest in the sport. I usually follow along during playoffs and I understand most rules (I swear, icing still gets me sometimes) but I have no idea what I'm doing in line formation etc. I started a Franchise with the Oilers cause.. well, McDavid and of course the 3 best players are Mcdavid, Draisaitl, and the Nug. With all 3 beings Centers, how bad is it to play them out of position and run them all on line 1? Also, if I go out and blow all my assests to get someone I really like, (Taylor Hall was traded today, so let's use him) how bad does moving someone like N-H down to 2nd line effect him when he's labeled as a "1st Line Fwd"? Is it better to trade one of the Centers to get a Winger? It seems that Centers tend to be the stars so I found it hard to get the value I'm looking for from a Winger when I'm sending one of these guys.. [link] [comments] |

I'm not buying this game next year if the menus aren't fixed. Posted: 17 Dec 2019 12:59 AM PST I am a 5 year purchaser, lol. Won't be buying next year, y'all. Say goodbye to your local 400 CR drop-in player! [link] [comments] |
Odd OLED sound issue w/ NHL 20 PS4 (x-post from r/OLED) Posted: 17 Dec 2019 07:04 AM PST Bought a new LG OLED C9 and there is an odd sound issue... Whenever I start NHL 20 on my PS4, the TV lets off a loud constant hi-pitched beep. It goes away when the game's menu comes up but then intermittently happens again at points when playing the game. Does not seem to happen with any other game. Things I have tried:

Posted: 17 Dec 2019 10:45 AM PST Is it just me, or does the AI completely goes into garbage mode? I just don't understand how the AI keeps going in the opposite positions that you would expect. I don't see this happening in other modes. [link] [comments] |
Post T. Hall trade Roster Update Posted: 17 Dec 2019 09:40 AM PST So how long until the new roster update comes out. I set the over/under at after New Years. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 16 Dec 2019 05:36 PM PST Wondering if this is happening to anyone and if anyone has any advice on what to do. When in season mode and I got player movement to move guys around to match the current NHL trades i.e Hall to Arizona when I press A to apply changes the game will just lag and nothing will happen but if I press any button I can move around again and try it again if I do this three times every single time on the third attempt it will actually try to do it (EA Logo top right hand side with the spinning circle around it) and then cut audio and crash the game. So I am currently unable to do any player movement when in season mode [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Dec 2019 04:37 PM PST Just got the game and simmed through one year of a franchise mode. I went through pretty quick and just wanted to know about any of the differences from previous years. It seemed almost the same. Also, just wondering if anyone has tips to increase the scoring. I had Gretzky playing on the oilers and he finished with 97 points, Mcdavid had less than that and drasiatl had 80. [link] [comments] |
