    Lack of CPU trades

    I'm up to the day before the trade deadline in my be a GM...and there has been ONE CPU trade all season, and it happened in October.

    Is there a way to fix this in any way?

    Should I upgrade to NHL 20?

    I bought NHL 18 when it came out 2 years ago, and when 19 came out i decided that it wasn't worth upgrading as most people said it wasn't much better. Now that NHL 20 is on sale for $40, i thought it was the perfect time to ask, is it worth buying it? ( I mainly play Franchise Mode, Be A Pro, and Online Versus)

    Extremely high scoring played franchise games?

    When I play franchise games (4 min periods, was originally 6 but tried to limit it to lower goal count which didn't work and pro difficulty) the games are usually 8-6 9-7 8-7 games with 80+ shots on each team, but when I sim games, all the scores are regulars 2-3 3-1 4-2 scores. Anyway I can fix this?

    Can we do anything to make EA actually try?

    EA tries less and less every year and yet they still charge us $60 for a game more recycled than call of duty. This game is just NHL 19 again. They never improve on anything. I think the 16-18 years they got it right and then decided to mess everything up. The UI still sucks, the menus still take forever to load, the game is still so goddamn glitchy. At the very least they toned the penalties down from NHL 19 but that's not saying much.

    The lighting effects on the ice are annoying and make it difficult to see the puck. The cameras aren't smart enough to keep my player from being behind the scoreboard at the bottom of the screen when I'm playing defense in OTP. A lot of the time it takes me longer to find games and get into them than it does to actually play the game. Seriously can we all boycott NHL21 and stick with 20 next year so they have to actually work on the game for once? Fuckin embarrassing.

    I do not care if reporting someone decreases my playerbase. I will report people that cheat or throw games.. throwing is more what I'm concerned about.

    Jan 1st 2020.. just played a drop in and a fucking shit kid dove around taking trips and garbage calls all night. It sucked. I wanted to kill my own drop in teammate.

    Again this is a teammate that I'm trying to report...fuck people that are trash humans

    EA should make the best player from each team untradeable- at least for AI-AI trades

    This honestly bugs me in Franchise a lot- after 1-2 seasons so many weird and unrealistic trades happen that it's laughable.

    Marchand to Philly for Giroux who's then named captain for Bruins? Sure.

    Larkin to Buffalo? Why not

    Toews to Islanders and Kane to Pittsburgh? You bet!

    (NHL18) Daniel Sedin to Arizona and Henrik to Devils? Let's do this!

    Ovechkin to Edmonton and Backstrom to Calgary? Sure thing!

    Honestly it's a joke. EA should program the game so that if you want to have a star you can trade for it if you offer a ridiculous return(as it is rn) but the AI shouldn't be able to make these kinds of trades cause it's breaks the immersion a lot especially if you're trying to make realistic trades and then see this kind of bs
