    So it's been in the past 3 nhls I'm pretty sure. I am currently playing nhl 19 but I heard it in nhl 20 as well. It's a song that plays after you score a goal, not one on the actual soundtrack. I've tried shazaming this, looking up the lyrics, everything! Idk how to post a video on reddit but it's a girl singing and the lyrics are like "and I can't take this over and over and over and over, and why not" something like that. I just love it. If someone can help me post a video I will but in the meantime does anyone know??

    Does a goalie ever get hurt in Franchise mode when you play the game?

    I notice that only when you sim does a goalie get hurt. Has it ever happened to anyone that their goalie got hurt when they were playing a game?

    My Franchise mode goalie just went from 87 overall to 81 at the age of 27?

    Is this a thing that happens? Seems pretty bullshit to me he was Elite last season now he's Starter. He had like 5 injuries over the coarse of the season and playoffs. I was so shocked by it I think it could be a glitch. Thoughts?

    No perks during game? (EASHL 3'S)

    Hi everybody, something happened to me today and I'd like to know if it has already happened to anybody else.

    So I was playing a game of eashl (3s) and there were no perks icon at the bottom left of the screen above my character stamina.

    I know that sometimes it's a bug, BUT it really seemed that my character was naked. No perks at all. I was losing my stamina SO damn fast for the whole game. I've never been that much in the red/yellow ever. And I know my character. I know that I'm not THAT often in the red or yellow usually.

    I wasn't being hitted regularly either so I really don't know why I was losing so much stamina. I had to stop skating more often than usual to regain stamina..

    I'm pretty sure my character had no perks for that specific game.

    Has it ever happened to anybody else?

    English isn't my first language

    So for the first since NHL 09 I waited till the game was half price to buy it... and I don't think it was worth it. Don't get me wrong, it's still enjoyable and I love hockey too much to not playing it, but since the xbox one/ps4 era, this game hasn't been great.

    Here is a review I made

    Franchise Mode

    The most enjoyable mode by far. There's still a lot to improve but I got a lot of fun playing it even tho. But there's little thing that could make the mode more fun, like -Why there's no all star game anymore? -Why there's no world championship? -Why there's no Hall of Fame/retired jersey number when a player retired? (I've seen this in NBA 2K and I found it pretty nice) -Why can't we change team during our journey? Like I know u can get fired, but I don't wanna turn the mode on all the finance shit

    Still a pretty complete mode.

    HUT

    I used to play a lot in HUT till NHL 18 where it started to became more and more of a pay to win and I don't have money to spend on this. But people seems to enjoy it and since I don't really play it, I guess there's still good in this mode.

    EASHL

    There's the I play the most. Me and my friend are playing together since NHL12 in EASHL. Overall it's really nice and enjoyable. We're in div 3, we haven't played a lot, but we're still really great players; but sometimes, I feel like the game decided before the game who's gonna win. By giving the team a shitty defenseman/goalie or an OP one. So we can't do anything but losing like 4-0 by outshooting them 21-8. It happens to us too, winning game against player that we shouldn't.

    There's still a lot of player that are exploiting the game's weakness but it's like in every game.

    Not even gonna review that pure garbage mode.

    The gameplay overall...

    Since I don't play online besides EASHL, I will review the game when you play against a CPU.

    So I play on AllStar mode, i win most of my game (like maybe 2 out of 3), but to fully enjoy the game, i gotta play a lot in the settings. Hear me out, it really doesn't feel like a real hockey game. The way our CPU are positionning in PP, on an odd man rush... it's just unrealistic.

    CPU can do things we can't. The way they are cleaning their zone in PK is just... too much. They shot from aside of their net and the puck goes behind ours without any interceptions. When we clear our zone, their Dman jump and catch the puck. They can just pick up the puck without pokecheck and sticklift. And those 2 are horribles btw. Way too many trips with the pokecheck and the sticklift is just useless. Our player will just lift the stick and the puck will stay there. When we push a player on the board (with Y/Triangle), why can the CPU get out so easily? I could continue for hours.

    I'll finish by asking, why is this game removing game mode every year? Where is GM Connected? Tournament mode? (i know there is the Champions League and Spengler Cup but meh, u can't even edit the team) Where is the World Cup? Where is the Winter Classic? Where are the other leagues in playoff mode?

    Anyway, the game is still enjoyable, but could be so much more. I give it a 5.5/10

    What's your thoughts? Why does EA care so little about NHL?

    How do you deal with puck raggers in EASHL?

    You know when you're down by one with a few minutes left and they take it behind their net. What do you do? I'd love to reach through the screen and choke them to death, but I typically just message them and wish horrible things on their families.

    Any point in having a good backup goalie in franchise mode?

    Playing franchise mode right now and wondering whether there's any point in having a good backup goalie. From what I can tell, goalies don't get fatigued from playing back-to-back, etc, and don't get injured in games that you play.

    So... is there any point in signing a good backup or rotating your goalies like you would in real life?

    Haven't played in a while, how are things?

    Hello friends,

    I used to play every night back when everyone was unemployable and times were dark but I took a bit of a hiatus in favor of single player games - anything new? I used to exclusively play EASHL (13-16ish) and was one of those guys who main'd RW and just picked corners with a really small guy. Used to have a ton of fun but there were certain aspects of the gameplay that were insufferable.

    Goalies used to waste everyone's time by skating out to center ice to draw penalties on their own teams, players frequently AFK'd without the ability to be kicked and Teal used to be reserved for Fukushima survivors. The game always had the bones to be amazing but you'd either land a bunch of people who were so casual that they'd rage quit in the 1st or you'd get slapped by six guys who actually play together. Games frequently black-screened before they'd actually load and, after like 3 months of being on the market, the online community was under 300 people.

    Are these issues still around? Does the game even have a version of EASHL anymore? I remember they minimized customization and started adding "+2 speed" skates and things like that which took away a lot of the research you needed to do to get your player to be his best. They also started making you pick a position before the lobby launched which was annoying to me - people would just keep cycling into and out of lobbies because Centre was taken instead of everyone readying-up and having an equal chance at landing the spot they wanted.

    Maybe I just suck but I’m having problems passing in HUT online. I often pass to the player I’m not aiming for or my pass gets blocked by the defender who’s on me skates. Any tips??

    Starting a Sim League on PS3 using NHL Legacy

    Introducing the Beaver Lodge Sim League
    We have been talking about starting a sim league for a long time now, and we are finally going to go ahead with creating one. The BLSL. We currently run a GM Connected league with 30 GMs and want to expand into a sim league as well.

    What is a sim league?
    The BLSL will be a GM Connected league where General Managers will compete against each other in the same way as they do in the BLHL, except for one major difference. All games will be simulated. This puts the focus entirely on the GM to build a team that has a good roster.

    How will it work?
    We are still in the process of ironing out the details on the operation of the league but much will be the same as the BLHL. Trading will be operated the same way with a trade board voting on each trade. The advance frequency has not yet been determined but it will advance far more frequently than the BLHL as there is no need to play games. Only manage teams.

    Will there be streams?
    Yes, come playoffs, every single game from every single series will be streamed on a schedule. The management in the league will have access to each team and be able to stream games at a certain time. Therefore the season games will be simulated by the AI, but playoff games will be played as CPU vs CPU.

    How will teams and rosters be picked?
    Teams will be given based on the choice list submitted by every GM. Upon creating the league rosters will be set to Random Rosters. Teams will not be able to see their rosters before choosing to keep everything random to start. This will mean some teams could start in a rebuild situation and others ready to compete

    What else does this league offer?
    • a solid community already in place from previous leagues, you'll be playing with likeminded people who love GM Mode.
    • a podcast that covers events around the league
    • streams of all playoff games so everyone can watch the excitement• odds for playoff series where league members can place friendly bets and compete against rest of the league• a bracket challenge every season
    • media coverage with trades and big events being brought to you where you are used to seeing your news
    • live standings and schedule. Always stay up to date with how your teams doing
