People sign up to play as a particular team, and we play the series out together until a cup winner is declared. Would need a lot of people to make it a reality, but it'd be dope I think. | An idea for a franchise overhaul Posted: 24 Mar 2020 02:08 PM PDT You can jump in at any point in nhl history from the original 6 era, maybe if you really want to stretch the founding onward. you can jump in and build your team, relocate, rebrand, etc. If that's to hard then NHL 94 onward. Who wouldn't love to try and save the nordiques. Or try to have the rangers be the dominant team in the nhl during the original. Also every team auto defaults their rebrands and relocates if the have to and the expansion draft with its rules would auto happen. Like who wouldn't want to try to manage the original 6 team all the way to today. Then if you choose this it would be a normal franchise mode. And once you cought up it would be a normal franchise mode. I know it would be really hard to make and stuff but I think something like that would get a lot of eyes back. Nostalgia sells. And also maybe ea doesn't make the game but 2k or someone else jump in as ea does not have exclusive nhl rights. Theres so much you can do. Maybe draft guy lafleur with the golden seals. Try to save cleveland. Get iginla the cup with calgary, get the heatley alfredsson ottawa era a cup. Don't trade gretzky from the oilers. If your a Canadian team you gotta try to manage the Canadian dollar or a southern team succeeding is harder the further back in time you are. The possibilities of this mode are endless and could be a game in it's own right. For me I'd love a brind'amour Canes era dynasty as he was my childhood hero. I know getting everyone's name might be insanely difficult but I think it'd be worth it. [link] [comments] |

I stopped playing for a while and just hopped back in to 3 straight games of guys just not controlling defensemen and backchecking up the ice the entire time. its such a pigeon tactic. | AI in Be A Pro on all star or superstar is way too hard to play against Posted: 24 Mar 2020 03:18 PM PDT I'm doing a Be A Pro and any time the AI gets into the zone, they'll get like 20 completed passes with no mistakes in a span of 5 seconds and they score with ease. I'm not going to turn down the difficulty to pro because that's too easy but all-star AI is overpowered in this mode. Any other suggestions besides just to stop playing it? [link] [comments] |
