    There needs to be a “GM always approves trade request” toggle in BAP. Franchise has an “always accept relocation” toggle so I don’t know why BAP doesn’t have an equivalent. My rookie year I’m not good enough for a trade, then next year we’re a contender and he won’t trade me because he needs me?

    It is one of the many many shortcomings in BAP and offline modes in general. I shouldn't have to make a new character if I don't want to play for a team until my contract expires.

    I've never been left feeling so empty. My be a pro goalie just fished his 10th year in the league, I mostly simmed first seasons but played all 62 of my regular season games. 1st place finish and lowest GAA... I finally get to the post season after so much anticipation anddd I WAS SAT FOR THE PLAYOFFS FOR A 78 RATED BACKUP. Just to lose in the first round then find out that I won the Vezina. THANKS BAP DEV it may never dawn on you to tryout your code.

    Just wondering if other's have noticed this...

    This isn't a gripe about some invisible wall or some petty bs like that, I don't mind that stuff at all. Mainly because the game is insanely fun to play and I will absolutely cut the devs some slack on the small stuff.

    I love this game and play a few games daily either EASHL 6v6 drop-in or Online Versus and I always play as the Bruins as I'm from Boston and a fan of the team.

    I have owned every EA NHL game. Yes, every. I was 11 when the very first one came out, "EA SPORTS" didn't exist, and I rented it at the local VHS rental store. Blockbuster was still a pipe dream. Yes, I'm THAT old.

    EASHL and BaP are still a LOT of fun to play and feel properly competitive.

    What grinds my gears is this ice tilt bull plop in Online Versus mode. Why does the game have to be handicapped? There are enough players where the skill levels can match up properly instead of having this system where the game changes in someones favor from shift to shift. And now after this last patch, it feels like an entirely new game.

    I was seriously enjoying my time playing online vs. I'm not great, as I mentioned, I'm old... but I broke a 600 CR for the first time in a while and was finding a playstyle that was a lot of fun.

    Now I can't score a goal unless it's an above average play. My opponents seem to score on much easier plays and softer shots. My poke checks don't do anything (and I pride myself in my poke checks!) I've lost 12 of my last 15 games...yes, three of them I deserved to lose, I was outclassed, but daheck eh? Why am I struggling to compete at all now?

    I've noticed everything above not just in NHL20 but in '18 and '19 too...don't recall if it happened prior.

    Suddenly a wild patch appears and boom! I suck. ha!

    If they're a European player is it better to leave them unsigned so they can continue to play overseas, or should I sign them and keep them scratched in the AHL or play them even if they are only 50-65 overall?

    Took a journey to 2k20, my findings

    Now I know 2k basketball titles is 2K's only main title beside work on WWE and bioshock. But here's some bullet points of what a imperfect yet substantially better case could have. Keep in mind I tried 2k for a month for $1 game pass trial and before I started playing I couldn't name 6 NBA players at gunpoint.

    Connect franchise: it's glitchy, it's slow, but I didn't give a rip it was awesome, you could play game 67 before game 1 if you wanted to play your friend in the league, number retirements, staff signing periods, pre free agency, I could go on but I made my pistons a DYNASTY. This is where NHL could be even better cuz NHL cap rules are so much simpler then me banging my head against a wall trying to figure out luxury tax. Not to mention custom rosters, draft classes, AND DOWNLOADABLE TEAM PACKS (ex: I downloaded a Michigan State team pack from the community, logo, stadium, jerseys, etc)

    NBA MyLeague: 8/10 NHL Franchise mode: 5/10 for offline, N/A for connected

    MyCareer (Be a Pro): playing for a made up college in my low league tourney to get into the NCAAM tourney was awesome, the whole sitting out cuz your teammate got injured and cut thing was kinda dumb, but talking to Nike, UA, Puma, and beats reps more than makes up. Pre game cutscenes were countless.

    NBA Mycareer score: 8.5/10 NHL Be a Pro: 3/10

    My Team (HUT): Only area where NHL holds the advantage, I do believe NHL holds the best ultimate team experience and I have experience playing FUT, MUT, little MyTeam. However I'll buy coins before I buy packs. Plus NBA is broken if you can't position lock (like putting forwards on defense in years prior) like putting shaq at point guard. They finally added the position lock mechanic only to release "different position" cards

    NBA MyTeam: 5/10 NHL HUT: 8/10

    Neighboorhood/Pro Am (EASHL): be careful when you ask for progression on your EASHL players, the way 2k does it is pretty creative in the sense they merge (EASHL) and (Be a Pro) as in they're the same character, which you can go play pickup basketball with your friends and all their be a pro guys. The 2 main issues with this is 2k monetized player progression, so you can either grind for a 99 overall or by VC (Hut coins) to level up your guy. So I guy like myself who joins late with an 83ovr is just gonna get pooped on by 99s. I'd do a 87ish level cap if I were NHL.

    NBA Neighboorhood: 7/10 EASHL: 7/10 With different pros and cons

    In the end if NHL could bring an 8th of what I've laid before you guys it would be a substantially better game. For the first time ever I'm considering not getting the next NHL title for reasons other than to protest (i.e It'll be my senior year in college and I don't wanna waste it playing a ton of video games).

    Feel free to debate and add on, as you can see it's not like I got much to do. And I would advise you if the $1 gamepass thing is going on to download the game and take a look around.

    I get usually only 20 shots against a game. Hardly ever get the CPU to shoot over 30 shots.

    So I have played NHL for a long time now and in all my games I have been ranked 400 or less. Within a week I went from rank 420 to I think about 1500 now. I am losing to people who shouldn't even be skating against me. Everything feels so slow and delayed and off.

    I am losing games to people where I am just downright dominating them daily. I mean losing 4-2 with the opponent having 12 shots or less against my 30+ and more than half are one timers in the slot.

    Anybody else experiencing this? It's so frustrating.
