EA Sports NHL Hit this guy so hard he got stuck in the other rink, has anyone ever seen this glitch?

When I aim up ice it barely comes off the ice. Even when I hold it in for a little. If I aim for a wall to bounce it off it then it goes to the moon, over the wall for a penalty. Like how long do you have to hold in RB to get it in the air?

I'm primarily a clubs guy and BAP guy, is this game worth the money?? Is clubs active enough? From watching some stuff the commentary alone is enough to make me not wanna buy it, but i miss hockey :(

Things I want in NHL 21

No video game is perfect but overall I feel NHL 20 is a pretty good game. However there are a few minor things I want in NHL 21 that would make the game more realistic. 1. Getting kicked out of faceoffs. In NHL 21 if you move your stick before the ref drops the puck you should get kicked off the face off and your winger should take it. NHL 2k had this years ago I believe. 2. Players should start behind the puck and skate up to it on a penalty shot or in a shootout. 2k had this ten years ago. 3. Pregame/intermission shows. Even if they are repetitive it would still be more realistic than having nothing at all in between periods and before the game. 4. Scrums after the whistle. After the whistle scrums happen all the time in hockey and fans love them and they show how intense the game is. 5. New fighting engine. The current fighting engine is ok but not every hockey fight ends in a knockout. They need a more realistic one in next years game similar to the one 2k used to have. I know these are really minor things but they would make the game much more realistic

Cap issues below the cap?

I'm playing NHL 19 Franchise mode, and the year is 2023. My starting goaltender was Malcolm Subban with a backup of Corey Crawford, who I decided to pick up in exchange for Chicago's first and a couple other picks. I was about 1mil below cap and Subban got injured for a couple games so I called up my 76overall 20 yo goalie prospect, still on ELC. This put me right at cap, and when Subban came back it wouldn't let me put the prospect back in the minors saying I would be over cap. WTF? I traded away a scratched forward with a .925 ELC and only got 400k worth of cap relief, then tried moving goalies around. Then I traded away a 1.5 mil defenceman and needed to call someone from the minors. It said something like "mandatory roster moves: call up Young Defenceman" as a warning before I traded. I went along with it and tried to call up Young Defenceman but it said I'd be over cap. I did auto fix roster and it automatically called up YD. I have just over 1mil in cap space and I can't make any roster moves because everything says I would be over cap, even swapping two 925 ELC players with each other. I have 3 goalies in the NHL which are Subban, Crawford, and my 76 prospect, and I have 2 goalies in the minors which are another prospect and a player signed to an AHL contract that I can't trade away. WTF am I supposed to do?

Play-by-Play Names?

I can't figure out how to get arena announcers to say our CHEL players' play-by-play names when announcing goals. I even unlocked and enabled a feature in the club customization that was something along the lines of "arena announcer."

The only name I've ever heard announced in CHEL in NHL 20 is the computer player Jerome Murphy, whom the announcer calls "Hurts."

(I haven't checked whether the play-by-play commentators say our names, because I've had that disabled since the day I got the game.)

I know we are spoda be more positive on this sub and all, but EA deserves shit for choosing not to tape up their servers and make them support crisp gameplay.

The fuck is the point of trying to get the squad hyped for this game mode if EA lazily opts not to put forth the effort to support it?

Also, this game is the only one me and the boys have where we experience lag so bad it looks like some old timey silent film being played at the wrong speed.

IDGAF about unlocking cute outfits, I just want to play. Love always

Sometimes my gf will play HUT with me, which can be a lot of fun. But the only mode that allows couch co-op (that I'm aware of) is the HUT Challenges. If you know of a mode that allows local co-op, let me know. Much appreciated!
