    Something changed a couple months ago. EA toned down the poke checks and increased the ability for offensive players to pick up the puck. Now, everytime I poke, the opposing player immediately picks up the puck. Sometimes players fly down the wing, get poked, the puck is practically behind them, and they immediately pick up the puck while in full stride. I don't understand, did the community think poke checks were overpowered? The same thing is happening with stick lifts. Players immediately pick up the puck after being stick lifted.

    Do you recommend NHL 20?

    I have been wanting to get it but I've seen some good and negative reviews. I haven't played since NHL 13 and I really enjoyed that one. What are some good modes or features??

    Is it possible to stop the injury notifications for teammates in Be A Pro?

    In Be A Pro, there's a screen that pops up that has to be confirmed every time any player on the team gets injured or returns to the lineup. I don't want to have to watch the screen and confirm every time somebody gets injured or comes back to the lineup--especially when I'm injured and just want to sim until my player is healthy again. Is there a way to prevent those notifications?

    Is it just me, or are one timers and "call for a one timer" impossible in Be a Pro mode in NHL 20 (xbox)

    I do the hints, but I dont get anywhere close. By the time my player swings, the pass has already passed him. And I dont even know what the hell a call for one timer is. Apparently I've done it once completely on accident thou

    How do you know if a player will fit your coaches scheme?

    It's so frustrating signing or trading for someone and having them not help your line chemistry. Is there a way to find out if they fit before you get them?

    Arena Commentator says name?

    More of an odd question really. Been playing NHL18 during quarantine, and I noticed when I score with my High Franchise Centerman, the arena announcer will say the players last name, but not anyone else's? Example: ("Goal scores by Anderson, assist by number 12 and 65")

    I'm in the year 2030 so all of my players are fictional. Is this just an oddity or does it happen more often if anyone has noticed?
