Basically, i'd like the NHL franchise to return to its roots in the soundtrack department, by bringing back more rock, punk and metal music! Most of these artists/bands have been in NHL before, so it would be nice to see them return, and would be nice fan service to the NHL community! But I played today and the AI has gotten terrible now. Before they could make good passes and follow the rules of jockey. Now they're back passing, making unnecessary cross ice passes and going offside constantly. Am I the only one noticing this? [link] [comments] |

| Battle for the Cup Mode: Any equivalent and when did it phase out? Posted: 19 Apr 2020 04:22 PM PDT Hey Everyone! With the current lockdown I've been getting back into playing NHL with some friends online. We remember playing split screen in a battle for the cup mode, which was a lot of fun - being able to do best of 7 series, track stats, and also have X factor like injuries carrying over (ie headhunting late game when you were down became a thing lmao). Unfortunately this appears to only be possible locally on a single console, and not online. Is there any similar feature in the newer versions of the game? We are using NHL18. I know, for example, FIFA20 has "season" when you face off against your friends. [link] [comments] |
