    So there's this friend of a friend who plays in my group, whom I can't stand because he's one of those "I'm not racist, I'm just joking" kinda guys. His player name was "I Pick Cotton" (LULZ HURRRR :/). On top of the whole douchebag thing, he's always taking a bajillion penalties a night and blames his controller. Just an all-around cancer to our group, but he's been friends with these guys a lot longer than I have, so I have no authority to boot him. Everyone else is super chill... its just this guy. I'm contemplating leaving the group altogether and finding one that isn't just ok with racist douchebags.

    Anyway, Saturday night we start to group up to play... and he's banned for 3 days! Oh the salt pouring forth from him was glorious. To top it off, we won 5 straight without him. Here's hoping this is the catalyst to get the guy booted from the group. We'll see.

    He received an email stating specifically it was because his in-game player name violated terms of service. Since there's no reporting feature in EA, they must be dedicating resources to have employees go through and mass-ban offensive names. I'm just curious how wide-sweeping this ban-broom was this weekend. I did notice a decrease in offensive names over the past couple nights.

    NHL 18 vs NHL 20? Opinions?

    Hey guys, I'm new to this sub but couldn't find answers when searching this up so hope you guys can help me out.

    I haven't had a chel games since '13/'14 on PS3. Recently I found out my sibling got a PS4 and NHL 20 is on sale for $20. I was thinking of getting it but I could also buy NHL 18 used for $5. Obviously they're both cheap but I'm wondering if the game mechanics between the two games are similar (I know in earlier years EA uses the same game mechanics for a few years). I wouldn't be playing online, mainly season, and be a pro if that's still a thing. I heard HUT is a thing too so I'd down to try any new game modes.

    In addition, I'm a Sens fan (I'm gonna be waiting for some chirps) and the NHL 20 Sens roster is not exactly the most exciting haha, whereas NHL 18, for example, still has Karlsson. Afaik, there's no way to switch players from one team to another where it affects the entire game as a whole, right?

    Be a Pro

    How am in 32-2-0 and not been awarded a single skill trait point in my 3rd season?!? I really like be a pro mode but it seems as is EA doesn't care to improve it at all. What other modes are fun where you just control your player??

    PS last season it sync'd through the second round of the playoffs in a glitch. And I lost. Laaame. The second round was not showing in the calendar as I had one the first in 4 games. So I sync'd it forward and it went right through the next round. Garbage. Lol.

    Not Saving Franchise Mode

    Is anyone else having this problem? I just started playing NHL 20again and I'll save my Franchise mode, but next time I turn on my XBox the save has disappeared. The only thing that shows up is my original startup. Very frustrating

    Maybe if youre losing by 10 or more then alright i can some what understand. Personally i still never quit even if its a blow out, but i just had a game where i was down by 3 and then i end up tying it and then eventually i go up by 2 when theres still plenty of time for the other guy to come back in the 3rd period. i dont cheese or anything and people still be quiting. Idk...my parents taught me never to quit whether its in real life or a video game. Ill take a loss cause thats a part of life. Theres a few type of people i dont respect and a quitter is one. And i guarentee most of yall quit a lot lol. I know its a video game, but quiting is still quiting. Shit i been down by 5 or more before and never gave up and came back and ended up winning. Honeslty those come back games are the most fun satisfying ones. So you never know untill the final whistle. Idk the whole quiting part in video games have always been frustrating. But theres a lot of sore losers so i guess this may be something that will never change. I honestly think EA or Microsoft can come up with a rule. The more you quit...the longer it should take to match up with someone online. Or get suspended from playing online for a little bit if you have a certain amount of quiting. Or pair up with someone who has just as many quits as the other. Or they should go back to that dnf feature they had with last gen. If you see someone with 90 percent dnf then i would back out of match before starting one. I just think they could figure something out lol. If you have quit multiple times just because youre losing....then give ya self a pat on the back right now for being a poor sport...lmao

    NHL 20; Annoying season mode trade bug

    So I'm about 1/3 through the season and I'm trying to make a trade to get Charlie Coyle back on the MN Wild. Every time I try to make the trade, I get blocked with a notification saying, "This trade cannot be completed because the MN Wild would have less than 2 playable goalies." I have two goalies on the roster, the rest of my lineup is perfect. I tried trading with other NHL teams and had the same problem. Checked my roster again, sent down and called up some players, still didn't work. Then I tried trading between AHL teams and continued getting the same message for each team, as if the teams didn't have proper goalies when all of them do.

    Has anyone had a similar problem and maybe have a solution for it?

    Cannot customize club anymore

    Anyone else had this issue lately? No matter how many times I try, it simply freezes the game when I hit save.

    Random Conn Smythe Winners

    So I'm playing my Penguins franchise in our 5th year. Just won back to back cups. Somehow Bryan Rust managed to win the Conne Smythe both times. Now the first one makes sense, Crosby and Malkin had below average runs and Rust was only 2 points back while leading the team in goals and game winners so it was understandable that he would take it. However, the second one makes no sense whatsoever. Crosby and Guenztel both tore it up finishing with 35 and 32 points respectively. Rust finished 9th on the team in scoring with only 15 points. I checked into the seconsary stats and he didnt standout out there either with only 1 game winner. I'm trying to find the games logic in giving him the Conne Smythe but I'm just not seeing it at all. So my question is has anyone else gotten any random award winners that defy all logic like this?

    Well, here’s hoping for NHL 21

    That they re introduce full customization again for our players. Or at the very least remove the negative "side effects", which in no way shape or form make any sense at all. I'd also like speed to a little more fairly distributed.

    My stamina bars dissapears in most be a pro games that I play. Is there a fix or am I doing something wrong?
