| Looking for some advice as a newbie in NHL 20. Posted: 29 Jul 2020 12:16 PM PDT Hi guys, I'm kind of new to the game and I have a few things I'm struggling with HARD. The main thing is that every time I'm bringing the puck up the ice the defender ALWAYS outskates me and steals the puck from me. I have games where I have 4 or 5 shots on goal because it just keeps getting stolen. I see some people somehow hold the puck on their forehand far back but I'm not sure how to do that. Going along with this when they bring the puck up they zoom past my defenders and get in their offensive zone at ease. Some guy I played said that you press the right stick down to disrupt the puck carrier but I'm never fast enough. Is R3 (xbox) how you skate fast? I try that but it doesnt seem to work well. Do you press it in once or keep hitting it? Any advice is appreciated. I'm addicted to the game but im getting discouraged always losing. Thanks guys. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 29 Jul 2020 11:38 AM PDT So I accept it is a part of hockey, but as I started to get good recently I noticed some lesser skilled players destroying me at the game with me he trap. I lost like 4 games in a row to the trap. After some reading and seeing it and not rage quitting I just beat two lesser skilled guys playing the trap. Once I got a few goals and they had to change their strategy I got the goals up and they both raged quit. It was an amazing feeling! I know not everyone who uses it is lesser skilled and many high level guys and gals use it, but some I played had nothing else in their game but the trap. It only took me a few days to figure it out. You can to. I'm a noob who played back in 2012 and got the game 3 months ago. I am going to play some more and I'm sure now I'm going to get crushed, but as long as I learn something I am ok with that. Peace out! [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 28 Jul 2020 06:58 PM PDT So this is something minor but I would like to see added in 21; 3 lines of PK and PP. The more I've been playing franchise and sometimes get in penalty trouble the more I would love to roll three lines instead of my two lines getting exhausted. [link] [comments] |
