EA Sports NHL Sickest 1-t I’ve ever seen, I ain’t even mad

I turned the sliders for charging penalties down to 0 since almost every body check I make gets called for it, yet I am still getting charging penalties. Is there a way to not get charging penalties without turning off penalties entirely? You would think turning the slider down to 0 would fix it but apparently EA doesn't give a shit that their sliders are completely meaningless.

Future suggestion for signing players to your AHL team

I would like to see a Franchise mode where you can sign players to strictly AHL level contracts. This is common practice in real life, many AHL veterans are not signed to two way deals with NHL clubs. This comes in handy when you need to add veterans to your AHL team so it's not a 24 and under team. I'd rather not have certain 32 year olds with 73 overall ratings signed to a two way deal and taking up a contract when I could have a rookie signed.

I say this because at the start of your career as the GM, your AHL team has players who are signed to AHL only contracts. As the years go on they disappear because they get signed by other teams. In the later years often many of those players disappear, and it's up to you to take on contracts for players strictly on your AHL team, leaving you with 50 contracts year after year (in real life that's considered poor managing). Often former prospects, and other free agents not signed to a team don't get signed for 4-5 seasons and don't retire, then if you decide to sign them, you see they haven't played in 5 seasons. In real life, those players would have flocked to Europe or signed an AHL level deal while they wait for their next chance.

What’s the craziest BaP team you’ve seen?

So I just made it to the eastern conference finals vs Nashville (as Islanders) and this team is absolutely stacked. Pietrangelo, Duchene, Pat Kane, Barbashev, Tavares, Benn, Lindholm, O'Reilly. Granted it's 2024 so they're older but that is a collection of stars that I would never have guessed. Plus I decked Pietrangelo and Tavares came after me, not what I expected.

What crazy combo of players have you come across?
