    (online play) you have a choice of arcade or full sim

    online versus play, you ready your team and choose game type competitive/casual and then you have a choice of arcade/full sim.

    arcade is exactly how the versus mode in 21 plays right now. way too fast/backdoor plays/high scoring games/north and south hockey. simple.

    full sim plays tight/low scoring games (for the most part). you actually have to forecheck/cycle/make plays down low. you are rewarded for dumping the puck at the red line. sustained pressure is possible. players energy levels actually matter, especially on the penalty kill. you have to ice the puck any chance you can on the pk compared to a clean break out that leads to an odd man rush that you score short side for the sixth time this game. your goalies (you know, the guys getting paid seven figs) do their fucking job and make saves. honestly make them damn near impossible to score on. loose puck/board play actually happens. GWG's come from tips, through screens or rebound goals on scrums in front of the net. you know, like hockey?

    for clubs you can choose whether your club plays in arcade or full sim division. i don't know anything about hut because that shit is trash and i don't care about it or how they fix it.

    would this be very hard for EA to implement for next gen? this would make me happy. wbu

    Is nhl20 working right now for anybody ?

    I can't seem to open the game ... it worked fine last night . Now I get a error saying it has taken too long to start . Figured I'd ask before I'd try a reinstall

    Closed Technical Test End Date?

    Currently in franchise mode as the Seattle Harbor Whalers but I went into a playoff game after simming the first 2 periods but my team is the Coyotes ????? Anyone experience this??

    Major server issues in NHL21 test

    I have not been able to play a single online game for more than a few minutes without lagging out and the time I am in games is super laggy. I know for a fact it's got nothing to do with me, I've got really good wifi and I haven't had any problems with any other games over the past few days other than this technical test I haven't even had this problem on NHL 20. Has this been happening to anybody else or is it just me for some reason?

    Retiring in Be a Pro

    My Be a Pro player is 39 and is at almost a ppg pace while slowly decreasing overall each season. My question is how or when will my player retire? Will it be my choice or will my agent tell me there's no offers out there. I've been signing 1 year deals the past 5 seasons.

    It pretty much speaks for itself. I receive the puck in the defensive zone. I'm on the PK. I go to shoot the puck down the ice, but the A.I. chooses the WORST POSSIBLE OPTION. Shoots it cross-crease right onto the opponents stick. Come on EA, you gotta fix this shit.

    Hey i keep switching between playing with a lefty and a righty and im just trying to figure out how to successfully do a forehand to backhand and what side of the goalie should I do it on. Im really confused on how I should be attacking the goalie when I want to do a forehand to backhand. It probably depends on whether or not im a left or righty
