    If you've been playing NHL games a long time like me, you'll probably have noticed that the quality of the game has dropped drastically in this last gen. I have 2 theories on that.

    1. When littman left and rammer took over, the game got stale fast

    2. When HUT was introduced it quickly became clear that HUT is their main focus and everything else is an afterthought.

    Year after year they make promises and dont deliver. They lie to us (anyone who believes pack odds and the attributes themselves arent manipulated to benefit EA is a sheep), they remove features and bring them back years later and call them "new", they get tje game to a state we're happy with (nhl19 beta) then listen to feedback of whiny streamers like nasher (who btw is already whining the lacrosse goal needs to be easier to do) instead of the vocal majority and ruin it.

    They claim they listen to our feedback but have proven time and time again they don't. If you go on their forums and voice your concerns, they will eventually ban you because they can't handle the truth. This game has been a copy/paste job this entire gen and they charge yearly the price of a AAA game that takes years to build and has an advertising budget greater than all of NHL's budget.

    Everyone keeps saying vote with your wallets but nobody does it. EA claim they get more positive feedback than negative, but anyone who knows how to read and frequents yt,fb,reddit, ea forums, operation sports, twitter can clearly see the opposite to be true. This year even look at madden. EA cares more about money over quality and we need to take a stand with our wallets finally. Weve been playing the exact same game,engine, coding for like 12 years (even though they lied and claimed it was rebuilt this gen...then why are bugs from last gen still in the game?) And they update rosters, half assed tweak the gameplay and add a new gimmick and maybe 1 feature people really care about and charge full price.

    So I'm proposing we fight back and boycott NHL21. Want change? This is how we get it. While we're at it, i dont think its coincidence that the game has gone downhill since rammer came so i say we ask for change there as well.

    I got a 1 week ban after the NHL 21 reveal that has lasted for 2 weeks now. I'm starting to think that they might have one shot permabanned me. Why I got banned? "For the memes you posted as well as overall rude behaviour". That might be the most ridiculous reason for a forum ban I've ever heard.

    Basically I just made and posted a couple of memes on the NHL 21 live reveal reaction thread while waiting for the trailer to drop, making fun of the lacrosse move leak. One of them was actually on the top posts on reveal day here as well. There wasn't any swearing, name calling or pointing at specific members of the dev team either. Basically I'm pretty damn sure that I didn't actually break any of the forum rules.

    It's kinda funny to think that the reason I got banned probably is either that the mod had some petty crudge against me because I've been critical in the past about how they handle the overwhelming criticism that floods the EA forums or that the memes hit too close to home and actually struck a nerve.

    Whatever you think about this series at this point I'm pretty sure that most of us can agree that the reveal has been pretty close to a disaster thus far. It's just really frustrating to see the way EA handles criticism.

    This was probably the meanest one I posted. That really doesn't seem that bad to me or nothing that hasn't already been said a thousand times before.
