So thinking about it lately and here we go again...

Each year people buy the hype of the trailer, the demo or beta is release, then the game, and finally disappointment and resentment.

Proclamations are made by many that this is their final year of buying the game.

Yet, with each new release, we get duped in by the trailer and the new features.

Then it comes to me, it's not because we are scared of missing out on the newest version, it's because we are scared we are going to miss out on a feature that was added, then removed in a later release when a feature worth paying for was added.

Basically we all know that we won't get that perfect game with all the features, so we fear missing out on any features, and thus fork over our money.

Gamestop employee: so will that be a copy of NHL21 or not?

I haven't played an NHL game since the 90s...I saw this World of Chel thing and I gotta say, playing as a casual created character on outdoor rinks piqued my interest. Unfortunately I have no idea what any of these game modes are and for whatever reason I cannot find a comprehensive guide anywhere. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I'd like to play an offline season (or several seasons) as a custom 3v3 franchise comprised of three created players, preferably on outdoor rinks. Basically I want to set up a beer league simulator. Is this even possible? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but as someone who's been away from the franchise for a couple decades I can't make any sense of any of this. Help would be appreciated!

I'm playing an Online Versus game and the guy just put his controller down and left rather than quit. He left 7 minutes into the first and doesn't get kicked the rest of the game, what kind of logic is that?

Is there a spreadsheet or does someone have one for franchise mode that tracks stats and whatnot through the years? I remember there was one posted way back for like nhl18 or 19... any ideas or anything?
