    The be a pro is a huge improvement from previous years, but it still sucks. It's missing way to much that it could potentially have. The story they added is interesting but is repetitive and useless way to quick. Instead of a story I'd rather: be able to play for my country in world juniors and olympics. Maybe even have a tryout type thing for them as well. Just some quick drills that if you were to fail would decrease your chance at making the team. Have a chance to play an outdoor game. This one shouldn't be common due to the fact that some teams go years without participating in one. Earn a spot on the all star team, I don't even care for the competition just the game would be cool. Have the ability to opt out of playing, if I hate the team I'm on. Or opt out of signing a contract until I get an offer I like. And be able to negotiate the contracts myself cause the agent is obviously shit. Have the request a trade feature mean something, not get told I'm to valuable. Be able to start in the minors and work my way up again. Instead of hopping right into the playoffs for the minors. And if they want a story, have fan interactions with it. Or pull a NBA 2k and have workout drills that improve the character. Have a practice mode to improve my teammate like ability and possibly a chemistry feature that could go with that.

    And for a stretch, which I thought would be interesting, have a multiplayer be a pro mode. Even just having 5 people in a multiplayer be a pro would be cool. But that one is just my GM connected version for be a pro.

    Be a pro could be good, it's just ea is lazy. This isn't an $80 game when they do way more for other sports games at the same cost. If they step up there game, and add a few more things, it's not like these would be too hard to add, they could heavily improve this mode.

    NHL 21 is a good game, but it's almost a carbon copy of nhl 20 with minimal changes that don't make a big difference.

    Can someone who got NHL21 after pre-order tell me how much NHL 94 Rewind is in the store for you?

    There are people in the NHL94 community wondering how to beat the $65 cost of 21+Rewind ($85 in Canada!). So they want to know how much it costs to get Rewind if they manage to find 21 for ~$30 and buy Rewind separately in the store.

    (Yes we're cheap bastards.. kids to feed yadda yadda. On the other hand I know some guys who went out and bought playstations just to play Rewind. I bought the pre-order, so when I look in the store it just says "Purchased" and I can't see the price other than the $85 bundle.)

    I don’t really need to ask. Is 21 still terrible. 2016 was the last enjoyable version for me.

    So I ragequit. Metaphorically speaking. When my video game played coach and auto booted me from a game where I had a goal and 2 assists as left winger. My defence had started to play offence. So I started hanging back playing defence. We were killing it as far as drop in games go. And then my illustrious hockey make believe career was over. Coach booted me. I told him he was ridiculous. Not just wrong. But something was wrong with his head and I couldn't deal with it anymore. I know hut is the new golden child with micro transactions built right in. That just didn't(doesn't) sit well with me that after buying the game annually from 2009 on. EA was only concerned with pay to win Hut. EASHL. I miss you. Not pick a build garbage. Old school spend some time to lvl up to your legend player EASHL. Spend more time to grind for each bonus slot so the average player hated that you had the advantage. Which you did. And deservedly so. 

     Each year started amazingly with the reset of levels almost making the purchase (again)palatable. Almost. EA. I know every "glitch shot" had a solution. I know most players never learned what they did wrong to allow for such muscle memory goals. That they bitched and you couldn't win. But to kill the game I loved. I can't forgive you. Rant end I'm just sad about it.

    EASHL Club Games Not Counting?

    Hey all, just wondering if there was an issue with online last night? Played 6v6 clubs and won 5 of our 6 however it seems that only 1 win and 1 loss counted.

    We've had this happen in the past but not to this level, is there anything on our end that we can try to fix this or is this a game issue?

    Drop in should be solo queue only

    The matchmaking in this game is fucking horrendous. Consistently you match up against full or nearly full squads and its bullshit. There's a fucking entire gamemode dedicated to that: club.

    So why is this a problem? Because clubs know they have an advantage queing against hopeful randoms in drop in so they do. MATCH THESE TEAMS TOGETHER AND PUT THE SOLO QUEUERS TOGETHER.

    It works both ways. Sometimes I'll get 2 very good players grouped together and we'll dummy the other team of randoms. But these games arent fun and are way too lopsided either way and its the poor matchmaking and optimization of matchmaking causing this.

    Or maybe the game is just fucking dead/dying and the playerbase just isnt there to make fair matchmaking.

    NEW Hockey Fan here, needs help with Tactics & Lineups !

    So i'm not a hockey fan, I just enjoyed NHL 20 I got for free so it got me interested and I jumped on NHL 21

    Now everything from the GM side is fine, I'm a NBA fan at heart so overall the league works the same way, the differences I feel are mostly minor,

    but man...

    I'm obviously lost when it comes to Hockey tactics, Line makeup and overall roster building.

    That's why i'm Asking you guys If you know of any sources (youtube, forum, written) where I can learn the basics of Hockey tactics & strategy, line composition, things that you MUST have in order to have a winning team.

    Also a few questions that are more specific:

    1 - Is there a "meta" in hockey, a blueprint most teams follow (like maybe having a playmaker C on your first couple lines) or can I have let's say a pretty defensive team overall with even the first line playing mostly for the counter ?

    2 - In soccer your scoring wingers often have their strong foot opposite to the side they play with (Left winger being right footed) so they can cut inside from the wing and be on their best passing/shooting foot. How does that apply in hockey ? (I see some of my scorers being the same shooting hand others the opposite from the side they play on)

    3 - Can I have a very attacking Back 2 ? ( Two offensive D, One offensive and one TW or two TW) or Do I always need atleast one DFD ?

    4 - DO I load my first line with the most talent (Considering they all fit the scheme) or Do I spread the talent on 2 or even 3 first lines ?

    5 - I often (almost always) see the Playmaker at Center, Can your main Playmaker be on the wings ? Can I have more than one Playmaker ? Is a playmaking D an actual playmaker (aka the main one) or would I still need an actual playmaking FW ?

    Anwyays, longpost but I hope it can help other people that having the same issues now growing in a Hockey crazed region ! (I don't even think we have a Ice rink in the whole country)

    What is wrong with Be a Pro?

    What is wrong with Be a Pro?? I just stared to play it and I promised the coach to make an impact in the first game.

    I scored two goals, but three goals were scored against my team times just as I jumped on the ice. I was one meter away from the bench every time.

    I was the first star with two goals and 9 hits, yet I was scolded by the coach and failed the "Generate momentum" challenge.

    What is this shit? Is two goals and 9 hits not momentum generating enough?? And I had nothing to do with the goals against, and even if I had it was still a good showing.

    Don't think I'll play this mode anymore. Did they even test it once?

    Play Now Fatigue issue

    Hey I was wondering if anyone has any issue when playing play now where neither team loses energy. I have checked the sliders and it says it's at 33% rate, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well. If you have had this issue or solved it please reply in the comments. Also playing on Xbox series X if that makes any difference.

    One timers not working in Pro Am

    For some reason when I hold the right stop up when I get a pass in pro am I just slide forward without shooting. I can shoot normally so I don't think it's the controller. What's going on here?
