    Now that we've had time to digest the release version of the game versus the beta, etc -- let's consolidate our very best feedback in this thread.

    If someone has already discussed something when you arrive, expand your own thoughts to their comments rather than only creating your own.

    The idea is to get a cleaner version of all the positive feedback and constructive criticism that have been mentioned so far so we can help strongly influence any changes made before the official release.

    Keep in mind that NHL devs and any assigned EA Community Managers can't/won't always interact directly, but I have met members of the dev team in the past and know that they do read and appreciate feedback from our subreddit.

    So, what should they know from us?

    Idea: Have NHL player presets in the "skating style" customization part of BAP

    What I mean by this is, I think it would be a good idea if EA made presets, or at least told us what we should change the sliders to when customizing the skating style of our Be a pro players, if we were trying to edit our Be a pro player to look like they skate like a specific NHL player.

    For example (Completley made up)-

    Connor McDavid skating style:

    Spine angle: 35

    Spine curve: 55

    Stride distance: 75

    Upper body twist: 20

    Hustle style: Style 2

    You get the idea.

    I think this would be super helpful if we wanted our BAP to skate like our favorite NHL star. I'm not saying they should do that for ever NHL player, because that would be super tough, but at least for the NHL stars, like, McDavid, Crosby, Ovi, Ect. How do you think this would be?

    Decided to give Be A Pro go and after few days noticed many flaws with it like this (scored 3 goals) is there fix coming or something?

    Ottawa has the new logo in Nhl 94 Retro, so expect the logo and jerseys in Nhl 21 be updated in the near future.

    I had more fun and good players in Online Verses that Hut(so toxic)

    So I use to play back in the day(2013). Got the game this year(2020) and I sucked at it, but worked hard for 6 months and think I am at least decent at the game. I always heard the best players play in NHL Hut. So I was excited for more of a challenge then verses. I joined and so far I have lost like 3 games from people who skate backwards after scoring one goal and against others that exploit the game for fun. I use to play CSGO and it was fun to try to get a high rank by improving over time. I never wanted to cheat to win. I feel for me online verses is more fun then HUT. I feel like I had great players in verses and only had one guy skate backwards once in 8months and 3 times in HUT in one week. I'm not sure if the rewards encourages bad behavior. For me sportsmanship is important. I hate the trap, but I'm cool with it as long as the player challenges the puck carrier. He doesn't need to chase me behind the net as long as he is not standing on the blue line. Again in NHL Verses it happened once in 8 months a guy stood in the Blue line and 5 times my first week in HUT. Is HUT worth the grind and bad sportsmanship or can you still get good at the game and play verses and grow as a player? To make it clear if I loose badly in a fair game 12-0 I don't care because I try to find one thing to improve and admire how much more I have to learn.

    Trade values are so broken in Franchise Mode that we can no longer standby and just complain. It's time we address the EA nation and demonstrate how insane the value system has become

    I have player indicators on, text size small, and nothing is showing up. I can never tell who has the puck, and can't see names at all....

    Does NHL 21 have the best soundtrack of the XB1/PS4 gen?

    I think so.

    Highlights: Release Yourself, Let Me Down, Bring the Drums Back, that Arkells song

    Lowlights: Rain Like This

    I think it's the best soundtrack since NHL 14, and it doesn't come close to NHL 11 (Shipping up to Boston, Sandstorm, The Final Countdown, Twilight Zone, Blitzkreig Bop, Howlin' For You) which I think is arguably the best EA NHL soundtrack of all time, but it's the best of the XB1/PS4 gen IMO.

    Is this the worst year for cheese?

    I've played about 30-40 online games. I would say 90% of the goals scored against me have been 1timers. It's not because I play bad defense, it's because my opponents only attempt 1timers and nothing else, and the goalies are simply unable to move laterally in this game. Also, 90% of my opponents do not user-defend the puck carrier, they instead control the defensive player closest to their own net, allowing the cpu defense to do all the work while they lay down in front of their goalie. They even nerfed rebound goals, the goalie just deflects low shots into the corner every time.

    Based on the way EA has tuned the game is this the most cheese we've seen?

    Anyway to prevent the roster moves from being made in BAP? I think its dumb that Ovi is on the Sharks and Matthews is on the Stars not even a game into my first season, makes things hella unrealistic🥴

    EASHL Computer Goalie

    Has anyone else noticed a huge difference with goalies. Our computer goalies have been letting 5+ goals and it seems like every cross crease shot is going in now.
