    Has anyone experienced really jumbled up and weird rosters on their Be a pro career? For example in my pro's career Ovechkin and Lundqvist are on the leafs, Nugent Hopkins on the wild, Pietrangelo is on the Kings. It's kinda annoying and I'm curious if anyone else has had this.

    I know the season being a bit messed up, and free agency starting late, etc. That it meant that rosters wouldn't be correct at the time of release.

    Has EA updated them frequently enough? Or are users basically having to do it themselves?

    Also... I know the Expansion stuff was in NHL 20, but is it in 21? Do they have the Seattle Kraken in the game?!

    Starting to hate online

    This is a minor rant post... so I apologize. Does anybody else find it frustrating that as a defenseman online you seem to get docked for "missed assignment" no matter how the other team scores? I've been in the middle of a two on one, taking the puck carrier or covered the guy without the puck and doesn't matter it seems when they score I am still "missing assignment" although they have scored when I played defense and I've been way the hell out of my own zone and not lost points at all.

    I also think that it's a crock did I lose points every time I lose a game because other people quit.

    End of rant and thank you putting up with me lol

    New NHL Player, Do I Wait?

    Hello all!

    I went to my first hockey game in December of last year (Go Canes) and I fell in love with it. I picked up 20 and used franchise mode to essentially help me learn the game of hockey and all of its players and it was awesome. I want to pick up 21 but have heard it's not the greatest and the rosters aren't even updated yet.

    Should I wait a little while until it's on sale or cave and just buy it. I typically always buy games at release I.e MLB The Show

    The struggle of being a defender on Be A Pro in NHL 21

    Playing Be A Pro as a defensemen is a struggle. You may be asking, why would you be a defensemen in be a pro?

    Truth be told is that the position of defense has always been by far my favorite position in hockey. In NHL games I find defense quite fun as well (on higher difficulty) offline blocking shots, getting into passing lanes, and so on. However, I cannot stand how this year it makes no sense when I get a task from my coach mid game.

    He will say something like "Up the effort, prevent the opponent from getting momentum, help generate offense."

    I always go with the promise less risk option response instead of the star high risk option saying I will score.

    The only way I ever pass these tasks is if I get at least 1 point. Blocking 8 shots and getting 3 takeaways with a +1 or more??? Nope it don't matter. You would fail because you never got a point or helped generate momentum. Like are you freaking kidding me?

    I went with the 2 way archetype knowing I need to obviously contribute to the offense. But I get really annoyed with how these tasks are offense related for a DEFENSEMAN. Like why not have defensive zone breakout task or what not limiting certain turnover amount?

    Overall I do love this mode and playing defense… but this is something I can't stand!

    Havnt been able to find it in the sub, but has auto scouting been fixed? I dont want to spend over an hour creating jerseys and then more time drafting if this bug isnt fixed.

    Is there any way to turn the conversations off in Be a Pro? I played my rookie season and enjoyed the experience, but now I just want to be able to simulate and play without having a conversation stop me every other game.

    NHL Season Simulation

    Hi guys I'm a total noob and wanted to know if there was a way to "simulate" a complete season and get the stats of all players. If so, how can I do so ? I'm trying to run a virtual pool with my friends at work.

    Any tips for a new 1's eliminator player?

    Hey all. I've been really enjoying both 1's and 3's eliminator since launch - these modes are brand new to me as I haven't played NHL in about 8 years.

    While I'm figuring out all the other formats of gameplay, I'm still struggling to figure out 1's and have coherent time with the puck. There seems to be some trick to skating in the corners and waiting for people to overcommit, but I'm not great at protecting the puck and not sure if there's some other things I should be trying.

    So I started the season with a few players (all 25 and under) at 89, 87, and 86, but after 2 games in they regressed to 87, 85, and 82.

    I checked a previous save, and they weren't inflated by statistical/morale growth so I'm at a loss.

    The worst part is I extended the 86 who dropped to 82 on a 4x7.

    Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
