| Posted: 01 Nov 2020 10:31 AM PST Maybe I'm overlooking it, but I have yet to see the all-star games in Be A Pro mode. If they're gone, that's a huge shame and should be brought back. Additionally, it would be great if we could choose the format, such as the ones we've seen recently, the standard East vs. West or the traditional NA vs World setting. Also, I thought it was interesting that when the NHL took a few weeks break to let their players play in the Olympics in 2014, the NHL 14 schedule also had that break. It would be really awesome if BAP in future added the ability to be in the "Triple Gold Club", as in, every 4 years, your player gets chosen (based off their nationality and skill) to partake in the Olympics, similar to the all-star game. And for a few weeks, you play as national teams to compete for gold. National teams are already there, anyway. So there's not even an extra IIHF or IOC licensing necessary. [link] [comments] |

| Input lag in EASHL Online Play? Posted: 01 Nov 2020 12:29 AM PDT Hello everyone, Brand new to the series and basically doing my 10-hour trial for 21 at the moment I've played a lot of Pro-Am on 20 bc the servers were kinda dead but I played my first online game the other night and noticed like over a second delay on my controls Was super frustrating and completely ruined the experience, felt like I could have won the game if it wasn't as bad as it was Is this literally just based on servers/location? I'm playing in Australia if that helps but does anyone else here from Aus have the same issue? Kinda hoping it won't be an issue otherwise I probably won't buy 21 and will just keep playing 20 for the EA Access price... [link] [comments] |

Conference final lost. I had a A for game 7. We lost. Pre-season I get named captain. Kopitar has a A now. Here I was going to leave this team as soon as my contracts expired.... all the years of BAP I played first time I got the C always was assistant captain. Yet they still didn't give me my jersey number, like I'm the captain but have second choice on jersey. [link] [comments] |

As a Rangers fan I'd like to start a franchise mode with Lafreniere obviously, but if he's not available I may wait until the right roster update to buy the game. | Posted: 31 Oct 2020 06:39 PM PDT Started a new BAP. Did the same setup I've done for all of them, 6'2" 200lb. LW/RW Sniper playing in Europe. But this time I summed every game. Used the calendar to do so (not sure if that even matters). First time got bounced after 2 games, team scored a total of 2 goals, I had 0 points. Went 160th to the Ducks. Tried it again, made it like 7 game sin the tourney, had like 5 assists. Got interviews with the Canucks, Blue Jackets, & Coyotes. Ended up going 20th overall to the Canucks, I ranked the interview with ARI. From my experience, sinking the whole "prologue" gives you the best chance at not going #1 or #2. And you need to average at or below a point per game if your a forward. Actually got drafted 15th to the Pens on one of my saves, but realized I had launch day rosters selected. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 31 Oct 2020 06:48 PM PDT Honestly, I've never felt a more stripped down, "score this way or not at all" in my entire time playing EASHL, starting in NHL 11. There is no advantage to running a cycle, seeing as how cross creases seem to be the only consistent way of scoring. Every team we've, including the one I'm on, really only find success off cross creases, and shooting seems almost pointless. I'm losing my patience really quickly with this game. I'd like to hear what others think about this, because honestly I don't see this mode improving at all going forward. [link] [comments] |

| Did they fix the online versus line change lag in NHL21? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 11:44 PM PDT It's incredibly annoying how if you try to switch lines in these games that it will lag when the EA sports logo pops up in between whistles. It's a crap shoot if the line you want to come out is actually on the ice. Is this fixed in nhl21? Ridiculous that you get a 50% chance between your 15% energy third/fourth line on the ice instead of your 70-80% energy first or second line out there! [link] [comments] |

One where Franchise mode is accurate and realistic when it comes to building a true dynasty. One where BAP mode is revamped for an immersive experience that can last for years upon years. But EA is struggling to create such masterpiece that would satisfy their fans. So they swallow their pride and stop focusing on the dollar signs. They simply ask for help. They recruit teams from CD Projekt Red and Bethesda. Those teams enter the building and assist in making the greatest sports/RPG combination the world has ever seen. Pre-order numbers have never been so high. Fans are happy to spend $60 knowing they are about to be blown away by the crisp gameplay and the feeling that they are a real GM/Player. The game releases in September. People are calling off work, staying up way too late, sitting at home on the weekends. All because they can't wait to see what's going to happen next for their created player. They just can't seem to put their controllers down. Fans are happy because they have a game to play for months to come. EA is happy because they are making a boatload of money. COVID-19 disappears for good. When we finally get out of our houses after endless hours of game playing, we hop in the car and go watch our favorite team make a run at Lord Stanley with our best friends and family.. along with 20,000 others. I know they're a pretty popular jersey to nhl fans and I was hoping to do a sabres rebrand with them. I haven't been able to find any posts or YouTube videos with a tutorial to make them. They obviously don't have the logo but there is a Buffalo logo that is at least serviceable. Anyone have any luck creating them or have examples of them in game? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 31 Oct 2020 01:53 PM PDT If you could remaster 1 NHL game what would it be. By remaster I mean the graphics would be sharpened to accommodate current gen without losing the original look of the game. Also allowed to add current luxuries to the game such as skill stick and online modes and be a pro. My choice would be NHL 2004. I've owned all of em since 99 on N64 other than I've skipped some of the current gen games but 2004 always my favorite. I play it on PS2 with component cables and it looks great and I truly think that game was ahead of it's time ( as were many EA Sports games in the early and mid 2000s) Dynasty mode was awesome and in depth for the time. The animations after whistles looked and felt more real then current games. Soundtrack was AMAZING (again as were most EA game at the time) Sure it lacks the modes like all the online modes and BAP which no one had then but overall that game again just felt ahead of it's time and to me was a big upgrade from 2003 which was also amazing but a little more arcady IMO.
