    Be a Pro’s dialogue is complete failure. One dialogue forces me to ”promise failure” and the second one tells me I’m trailing in scoring goals (154 G and leading league)

    So i'm playing for NYR and we have this game against CBJ, leading 2-0 going into 3rd period. We allow an early goal about 15 seconds in, but get another quick goal to make it 3-1. At this point the coach very unsmoothly interrupts the game to tell me to shut them down. Aight, I even get an assist and we win the game 4-1. Everything is great right? RIGHT? Well no it seems like, cause the only thing Ted Beneke form Breaking Bad has to say to me after the game is that I didn't shut them down. WTF mate? Can you kindly fuck off? I did exactly what this stupid idiot wanted me to do, and he still complains!! And the worst part in all this is I have no other choice than to submissively tell him that I sucked ass, which is straight up lies. EA can you at least give me the option to tell this dumbass what I really think?

    Does anyone remember the wacky commentary in PS1 era NHL games?

    So a buddy of mine and I played a bunch of franchise seasons together on the PS1 way back when. Would have been one of 98/99/00 and I recall the in game commentary as the best I've ever encountered in a sports game. My recollection is that it was more varied in the course of regular play than other games but also there were comedic one liners that would get dropped at absurdly long intervals like once every 50 games.

    Does anyone else remember this or am I imagining it after 20yrs and a couple too many chemicals?

    If I'm not losing it, does anyone recall which version (or versions) in particular had this commentary? Want to try and get a copy running on Parsec to wile away the hours in lockdown.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    It's been 3 weeks of trash like this. How can anyone honestly defend this game as being better than any previous year? It's an absolute embarrassment and slap in the face to EA's customer base.

    Can we talk about Power Play and Penalty Kill only having 2 lines

    Why, every year, do we only get 2 PP and PK lines and if a player is on PK1 and gets a penalty why do they pick a player from PK2 to fill that spot - draining your #2 line?

    And why do we only get two options? If I'm on an extended PP or PK, my lines drain to nothing. Why cant we get a 3rd or 4th line option?

    So today I learned you can remove "good" players from a team and replace them with bad players to make sure the team loses(extra training pre draft). I made a champions league team have 47-52-60. The 3 stats.

    We went 15-3 in agg xD. Managed to go 38th to the Sabres, by scoring 1 goal in 2 games.

    Cant access NHL 94 REWIND

    Decided to play nhl 94, so I found it on ps market but when I try to download it says that I do not own NHL 21 Disc pre-order tracker. I preordered the great 8 edition long time ago, so I was thinking that I will be able to play this game. Does anyone else has had this error?

    Sliders Question

    Hi everyone, just had a few specific questions that I can't find the answer to anywhere else. Please let me know if you're having the same problems.

    • My teammates never seem to try to pick up the puck/capitalize on any chances. If the puck comes loose and they're skating (read: standing perfectly still) nearby, they never reach out to grab it. The enemy AI never seems to have this problem as they're always in the perfect position for cycling. Is there a way to fix my AI's braindead non-participation mode?
    • Speed ratings seem wonky -- this is most noticeable when playing as my AHL affiliate with less good stats. No matter how good my players' speed stat is, the opposing AI just seems to skate way faster than me at all times. I've tried reducing their speed/upping my speed in the sliders but it doesn't help all that much, especially without making the game feel unfair. Any tips for making it feel more balanced?
    • Last one: is there a way to get the defenders to actually hold the blue line without them peeling off the second the opponent starts a breakout? I swear they just immediately skate backwards without checking or stick-lifting, essentially just letting the breakout breeze by them. I've tried all the forecheck/trap options, and nothing seems to work here. Is it at all possible to get my defenders to hold the blueline while I'm in the enemy's zone?

    BAP Hybrid Controls Question

    Sup fellow BAP'ers. I play skill stick so I don't know if I'm just missing something. If there a way to skate to the bench early - before the the little target near the bench shows up? Asking for a friend.

    I was telling her how I boost team play if needed by skating to the bench early for quick shifts points. With the skill stick you just hold B at any point. Looking at the controls page, holding right trigger + B should do the trick when using hybrid controls but it doesn't.
