    Question about NHL 21

    I haven't bought a hockey game in awhile, so sorry if this is a stupid question.

    Can you relocate a team in Franchise mode?

    I live in Houston, and since we don't have a hockey team, I think it would be cool if I could move one, but I'm not sure i want to buy the game if I can't. Thanks in advance :)

    How does a club game connect

    I have a couple questions about connectivity in club which I've discussed with many people over the years and all we do is guess. So please let me know if your answers are fact or you are surmising. It would be awesome if a Dev would answer. I also don't know why the mystery about connections?

    1. Does the player with the star who launches the game search have anything to do with hosting the game as in affecting game speed because they are acting as the server? If so the person with best ping should hold the star?
    2. I play with guys that play on wireless and they always say they don't affect the connection and they say have a great ping but it seems our team runs slower with guys on wireless. My experience with networking is hard wired is always better.
    3. Is Using best game location trying to find a game in which you selected the server you connect to EG Northeast?
    4. How does the server you connect to work; does everyone connect to it and we play off the server or do we share data back and forth peer to peer to each user and the server just acts as a conduit?
    5. When i play with guys from west coast (im in Ontario by Toronto) I always run slower. I had a guy join in on a club game from Britain and I said we cant play with you we will lag hard. His response was I have a 400 up and 400 down and my ping is 16 it wont be me lagging you. I Lagged. My connection is 250 down - 20 up and generally ping low 20's is it possible to play with someone over seas?

    All I wanna do is create my player and stick him on a team and be able to control the whole team instead of just the one player, haven't played in years and can't figure out how to do this any help??

    Hey, i just bought NHL 21 as my first hockey game and am loving it. The only bad thing is i suck i can easily beat the AI on semipro but struggle on pro. I was wondering what the best ways are to practice and how to get up to where i can play on superstar?

    If there is no season this year does that mean there will be no rookies added to the game. The NHLPA says they have to play at least one game right?

    Why can’t EA just add back the inactive timer to fix the HUT game dodging problem?

    You used to get kicked out of the game when you were inactive for 60 seconds. EA got rid of this, and it's led to a serious problem of players not playing in HUT games just so they can get the rewards faster. By adding the 60 second timer back, they can fix this problem. EA, WAKE UP.

    Just got PS5 - which NHL game should I pick up?

    So I haven't played an NHL game since 2004. But with my backwards compatible ps5 I'm thinking about grabbing one to play a bit. Probably just solo but maybe online if it's a good community. Which should I grab, and leave a comment with why?

    Let us play on olympic sized rinks in online vs

    Look we all know this game has glaring issues around just about every corner...one that could maybe help some of the bs is to make the rink bigger. Now its not gonna stop poor animations, or bad bounces that "randomly" go for the other team...but it will allow more space so the games could flow better. Right now the games resemble a cluster F*#K of a pee-wee hockey game where you seem to find the most success of rushing to the pile of players and hopefully coming out with the puck. The scale of the player size to the rink is off with the players being too big, or the rink too small and it makes games feel slow and cumbersome....

    NHL 21 Franchise mode question

    I'm in the process and probably now 7 years into a franchise mode. Doing a Tougie24 Draft-to-Glory style team. Only able to select players who played in the USA programs. And can only play those players who I've drafted. So team has been bad for quite a while. I'm finally being able to put a half decent team together. But I'm having major issues with none of my players ever wanting extensions. Even when we've been good and guys have had really successful seasons, it gets frustrating coming into the offseason. I don't always mind giving my top players bug money. But it's gets frustrating when you've got a 73 overall guy asking for upwards of 2.5 mil and not being able to bring his asking price down at all.

    Also just a nitpicky thing but literally ever season I've done so far I drop from number 1pick to the number 4 pick in the draft. Never picked higher than 4th. That also gets frustrating when there's a top american and I can't even take him. End up having to take a guy scouted at like 10 or lower with the 4th pick

    Struggling player in need of some help

    Hi guys, first off I wanna say that I apologize in advance if this kind of post isn't allowed, I'm just struggling in this game right now. I've been playing NHL 21 a good bit as my 1st real NHL game after recently getting into hockey. Im very familiar with the controls and basics and after playing with hybrid controls my first 100 games (I only do play now online) I finally made the switch to skill stick because people recommend using that but I feel like it's made me worse.im constantly getting the puck poked and getting hit from behind with the puck even protecting it and its the opposite story for the opponent I can't disrupt them or anything. I feel much slower than my opponent (and holy shit people are good at this game) as they fly by me after the face-off for a one timer every other possession. Long story short, would anyone here be interested in maybe playing vs me (Xbox) and give me some advice, and tell me what I'm doing wrong? Id be eternally grateful. It sucks loving playing the game all the time only to lose. Thanks guys.

    Be a Pro Glitch?

    Penalty kill line score is messed up for me... hear me out.

    So in be a pro, I'm at the start of my third season, 87 overall offensive defenseman that won the Norris last season. For whatever reason, my coach absolutely refuses to give me penalty kill time! Is this because I'm an offensive defenseman? Or is there something I can do to get my penalty kill line score to go up from 0? Or is the game just mucked cause EA sucks

    Also a side note, unrelated, but god the dialogue between your character and anybody is insufferable! Petition for 2K to make a hockey game!
