    Reason for this post being is that I wanted to commend, commemorate, and exemplify the dude I just played in vs. Damn that was a fun game - it was exactly what has me coming back time and again. Skilled competitor, and felt like he read my mind the whole game. Skipped all the replays. Just exemplary.

    Dude's skills with the stick are no fuckin joke and then you throw in the fact that it feels like you're reading my mind 85% of the game. He beat me 5-3, coulda been 6 but he chose not to score the empty netter‽

    Shit, there were even a couple scraps just for the fun of it.

    Anyway, I'm a 'lil high and just wanted to say something about it.

    Ok so I'm 55 games into my BAP career here, on AS. Some things I've noticed that absolutely drive me bonkers.

    1) Your AI teammates are just this side of useless. Seriously in the defensive zone they refuse to use seam passes, and will often turn the puck back into pressure or allow themselves to be board pinned in the corner 99/100 times.

    2) the "coach feedback" in game. This has been god awful for years, but why in the fiery blue hell does it randomly call for your shift to end in the defensive zone. The number one thing in hockey is you NEVER initiate a change until the puck is safely under your teams control, the other team goes for wholesale changes, or the puck is out. I shouldn't be penalized for "taking long shifts" when we got hemmed in for two minutes, and the game decides to call for a line change.

    3) Opponent AI can literally get away with ANYTHING. The amount of blatant interference the AI gets away with is insulting. These net front battles aren't even borderline interference, they flat out are. A stick lift when a pass is coming is one thing, but when you cannot even move, THAT is text book interference/obstruction holding. They can hit you away from the puck all you want, but don't dare touch one of them a hair after they dish the puck or you're in the box.

    3B) Why does the AI have an option to run away from the fight after they lay a huge(and often, again, interference)hit, yet we as players HAVE to fight?

    4) bad position pokechecks, pucks zipping backwards(albeit this has been an issue for over ten years now, even worse online). Blocked shots/passes by players who are in NO position to even remotely get a piece of them let alone stop them completely.

    5)The bubble that protects the AI/opponents from being hit. This is more a minor annoyance than anything, but when I take the perfect line to a hit only to clearly get bubbled off...

    To any EA developers that are here for the love of god & all things holy can you PLEASE try & reduce some of the exploitation instead of doing nothing & essentially promoting it ? Here’s the 1st thing to do

    Why haven't you added a team press button to curb the cancerous puck ragging that has plagued this franchise for years now. Long ago,if you held on to the puck for too long the player would 'blow a tire'-bobble the puck & lose control.

    How beyond pathetic & disgraceful is it that the ONE thing that eliminated puck ragging has been removed & your development team has not tried doing ONE thing to curb this

    Shame on you all for allowing this to go on, force it upon us to simply accept it as the 'norm'

    Just absolutely disgusting that the EA sports hockey development team has ignored this toxic aspect of their game to continue unaddressed for so long

    Just pathetic.

    I usually buy on sale every year but haven't had the urge to jump in yet on 21. Is it still satisfying to play online competitively? The reverse retro uniforms coming is cool, but I know there are practically zero new cyber faces. I know it's very much the same game year after year but I don't want to buy it and the series have taken like 10 steps backwards or something.

    So my younger sister loves the EA NHL series. I have a PS4 Slim with NHL 20 and she loves it, but since I will likely be taking my PS4 back to college (if and when the current state of the world changes), I was I've been looking into getting something for her for Christmas that would let her play NHL but I don't know the best options. My current options are getting it for the XBox 360 that I don't use anymore, getting a new console, or downloading an emulator on her laptop (Macbook Air 13 from 2017) like ppsspp (This would probably be the worst option because she wouldn't be able to play it on the tv easily and it might not run well)

    Update: seems like consoles have been going up in price lately I'll probably just wait for her birthday in January to get one
