    Merge online rosters with custom

    I'm sure this has been asked before, so sorry for that. But basically like the title says, I have custom rosters with tweaked overalls, potential etc. Is there a way to merge it with the online roster so I don't have to redo all of my changes. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Also when is the next roster update? Newest one I see is Dec16?

    21 Soundtrack

    Just got the game for Christmas and this is the best soundtrack in a while, EA has been pretty shit with soundtracks recently but this is the best one sense 13,14,15.

    Three's Eliminator mascot setrings

    I play this mode pretty regularly with a friend. We do pretty well. What settings are being used to make the mascot play better defense? We get some goals scored on us off the reset where the mascot is several feet off the forward. We play some teams where a mascot will practically shadow a player the whole game.

    Xbox one can't record

    As title says really. Try to record or screenshot and it just says game doesn't allow game capturing.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Edit: went into settings & toggled capture on/off and it seemed to have fixed the issue.

    I feel like a lot of posts to this sub are people complaining about the most ridiculous things. It's a video game and it's never going to be 100% realistic that's just impossible. Did you get fucked over by the cpu skating in another direction or the puck not going off your stick the right way? Deal with it, get better, and don't look for these little things to blame for you not scoring or winning. Get better at the game instead of blaming a loss on the game

    How to be a better goalie in BAP

    I'm usually a pretty solid goalie in chel games but when it comes to be a pro I just get sniped on every game. Is there a way that I can fix this and maybe get my sv% up?

    Be A Pro Notes/Ideas

    My notes on things EA can do or implement to improve the overall "Be A Pro" experience. This is more game experience rather than game play. Feel free to add to this and maybe it will reach EA and they can implement some of these ideas.

    Playoffs - Series score not listed anywhere on "locker room" hub. It needs to be listed.
    - In playoffs you have the option of playing through injuries at a slight reduction in skill points depending on injury.

    Easter Eggs/Cool Stuff - Coaches yelling at one another.
    - Hits knocking guys over the boards. - Hits knocking guy out cold. - High stick cuts, blooding noses, lips, etc.
    - If you break your nose, jaw or bones in face you might have to wear a face shield for a few games when you return.
    - Player can get teeth knocked out. (Fix teeth with money, salary perk) - Bench clearing brawl.
    - After whistle scrums. Snow showering goalies Intense rivalry games Cut scenes of scrums featuring guys yelling, face washing, taunting each other.

    • Rivalry games/playoff games if you character is an elite or star player, the opposing fans might chant against you when you have the puck.
    • Cut scenes of famous people/former players in the stands attending the game. For example, Gretzky, Biz and Whit, Jon Hamm, etc.

    Fighting - Line brawls. (rare) - Player rivalries - Player in the league you develop rivalries with during your career. This could lead to opening draw fights, targeted hits, etc. - Team rivalries that grow more intense could lead to opening draw line brawls. Coaches are more intense during these games.
    - Option to target a guy who you want to fight. - Goalie Fights (rare) - After big hit and AI player wants to fight you. You can deny fight if you want. This could lead to other guys challenging you at faceoffs, while playing, etc.

    Injury Report - Let us know what the injury is and expected time off. - In playoffs if opposing team player is injured let us know that he is out of the lineup. - Menu on "locker room hub" screen listing player injuries across league with expected time off. - When a player is injured and they leave the game, it should always be mentioned via commentators and a cut scene.

    Stats - Fight log, who you fought, date, Win/Loss/Draw - Gordie Howe Hat Trick Stats. - Option to save highlights automatically. Goals, hits, fights. If selected you will get an end of year highlight recap.

    Salary Perks/Social Media/Sponsors - Great addition! Keep adding more. - Social Media is great too. Maybe incorporate a Social Media post element where your character has the option to post something about an upcoming game to intensify a rivalry with the team or a certain player. - Make sponsorships real. Meaning your player can sign a contract with "Warrior" for their helmet and get paid. He can sign a sponsorship with "CCM" for his stick and get paid, etc.
    - If your player signs a deal with a clothing company make it a real company or at least come up with a name. - You receive cash bonuses or trait bonuses for winning trophies. Example Winning Conn Smythe gets you 500,000 bonus. Contract Perks - To entice you to sign clubs that really want you they can offer you perks unique to that organization. For example, a contract with the LA Kings could include a competitive salary, +1 trait point and an introduction to a Hollywood producer. This intro could lead you down a rabbit hole of new "salary perks" unique to the LA Kings Organization. All clubs could have these similar "unique perks" but they will only be offered if the club wants to entice you to join their team or if your current team doesn't want you to leave.

    • In regards to the +1 trait point, this could be something that the club offers based on your "Weekly Growth." For example, if your speed attribute is lacking the club may entice you to sign with them by saying they will offer you a personal skating coach that is guaranteed to raise you skating attribute by +3 points during the duration of your contract.

    Or

    - It could be a straight +1 or +2 trait point. These situations can all be unique based on your attributes and how bad a team wants you.

    • You should also be able to negotiate these options on your deal.

    • During the free agent process teams across the league looking for a player of your skill set and abilities should be made aware to you through your agent. You can show interest or not through you agent which may help entice a sweeter deal.

    • During a contract year your agent should be in touch with you more letting about the market and enticing you to get more points so your deal is bigger.

    • Maybe agent has you pick a list of teams that you are interested in and they will submit offers.

    • Contracts should be incentivized. For example, if you score 30 goals you will receive $250,000 bonus - 40 goals $400,000 - 50 goals $800,000 bonus, etc. Something like that.

    Teammate Interaction - You have the option on the main "locker room hub" interface to interact with teammates at will. You can converse, text or call teammates and set up side challenges during games. For example, bet a teammate you will score 2 goals next game for a steak dinner, new suit, bicycle, etc. If you win the challenge money will be added to your account. If you lose money will be deducted. 

    - If you are a captain on the team this feature opens up even more options, to be determined.

    Game Play - Hybrid Controls - when attacking the front of the net (trying to score) the "O" button should "chip" at the puck (toward the net). Right now when you hit "O" in front of the net it just tries to do a stick lift.
    This will help power forward type players get dirty goals in front of the net. - Open in "Locker Room HUB" to assign different cellies to rivalry oppenents, big game oppenents, your default regular cells and away game celly.
    Different cellies can provoke away game crowds to boo you and chant against you.

    Injuries in BaP

    Has anyone had issues with injuries (like 20 game spans at a time) even when they turn down the injury factor for humans? I turned it down from 50 to 35 and two games games later got knocked out for 20 games. Its to the point in the the last two seasons Ive played 23 games out of 164 🤬. Any suggestions other than turning injuries completely off?

    GM CONNECTED

    Im relatively new to online nhl, ive only played online the last 2 games. Has there ever been something like GM Connected?

    For those of you that dont know, gm connected is an nhl league full of human controlled teams. You could have any amount of human/ai controlled teams then you play through a season. Trade players to ai or your buddies but keeping picks is important if you plan on keeping the league for several seasons.

    Essentially franchise mode but with other teams controlled by people

    I know this is in MLB the show but has nhl ever done anything like this in the past? Could it be something people are interested in the future?

    What’s your guys’ go-to game mode?

    I see a lot of people post about playing EASHL and I've played a couple games but I haven't got into it as much. I mostly play threes eliminator with my cousins, and be a pro when I'm playing solo. I've been considering playing franchise but I'm not sure I have the time or patience to sim through all that. What do you all play?

    NHL actually had all the goal songs? Why the hell did I buy this game, albeit 50 percent off...haven't played since NHL 18 but shit I didn't figure they'd lose features... Fucking ea doops me again will I ever learn?
