Posted: 31 Dec 2020 11:30 AM PST I understand in offline modes, you have a home and away, you're playing the computer, etc but then you go to eashl and one teams goalie is always Spider-Man making crazy saves and their dman is picking pucks out of mid air left and right and then the other teams AI are just a bunch of monkeys fucking footballs! The goalie can't catch a cold and the dman would be better off swinging his dick at the puck than whatever it is they are trying to do. There is a bunch of defensive options available in the game, shot blocking, pass blocking, poke check, stick lift, checking but the AI are content just skating beside the opposition and doing completely fuck all, then it's just a back door goal. In single player you have a slider for AI learning so the cpu actually counters your bullshit when you do repetitive shit but then you go online, yo get paired up with single digit ranked new players against p3 sweats and they go back door over and over and over and over. Can they not bring the AI slider into online and make the goalie actually predict the back door at some stage? Fuck, make it after 5 back doors the goalie will actually realize that's what they do and start stopping it but nope the goalie would rather just look at his reflection in the glass that even try and do anything! Even when you're on the winning end it's just a shit game, you just skate up and back door goal every time, penalty shot? Just skate through the hash and top shelf near side every time. It's so fucking repetitive! If you get the good AI you win if you get the bad AI you lose! I've been in games against the good AI where we dominate and still lose. 10 mins time on attack, 40+ shots 1 goal, the other team has like 5 shots 3 goals because of the same glitch. I'm so bored playing the game just to glitch over and over! [link] [comments] |
| No injuries in playoff mode? Help Posted: 31 Dec 2020 11:12 AM PST I like to create tournaments and the only way in NHL 21 is to create a playoff mode. The problem is that players never get injured, except for one time when it actually worked and players would get injured in almost every game. FYI, there is no injury slider in playoff mode and no ''ON/OFF' injury switch either. Apparently, this bug has been there for years and was never fixed (Thanks EA). Does anyone know what to do? I'm mainly an mlb the show player, but content has gotten stale, and nhl looks really fun especially the career/"park" mode. Is it fun to play if you really don't know what you're doing? Posted: 30 Dec 2020 07:10 PM PST I was playing a drop in game and held the x button to tie up my man in front of the net. The puck carrier tried to force the cross crease anyways and as soon as the pass was released my player stops tying up the guy and let's in an easy tap in goal. This game is straight fuckin' garbage. Last time I'll ever play this fucking joke of a game until they improve defensive mechanics. No wonder most people have stopped buying this trash. What a disgrace. [link] [comments] |

Pretty much every game I double the opponent in time on attack and out shoot them as well yet I'm 1-10. I've tried watching YouTube videos and reading things but nothing. So sick of consistently dominating and having the opponent get through my defence 3 times a game and score every time. What am I missing... [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 Dec 2020 08:12 PM PST Is there a specific reason or some media thing in Russia that won't allow EA Sports to have their licenses? EA Sports used to have the Russian League in FIFA, but since 2018 I think their rights are now with PES and its fully licensed. Why not the KHL? I really want to play with the Wild and Kaprizov but he's not in the game yet and if he is, he'll still have a black avatar on his profile instead of his real face.
