    I have my franchise mode set pretty realistically. 10 out of 10 att effects. Game speed at 1. Don't get too excited. And play a very smart defensive game.

    I play the full games. Start to finish.

    We are the best team in the NHL. And over the last few seasons, have grown into quite the power house of a team.

    So when EA decides that I've won enough games for a while. And decides to absolutely God mode my much weaker opponent. I'm fine with that. I adapt, and usually still get the victory. Its close. Maybe overtime. Maybe a shootout. But I usually pull through.

    But when it REALLY wants me to lose. It'll pull some stupid shit like this, and force my computer controlled teammates to make absolute atrocious plays repeatedly... like my defense giving up THREE own goals in the span of 2 minutes on the ice.

    THREE!!

    Wanna know how many goals the other team had on the entire game?

    THREE!! And every damn one of them was an absolutely tragic own goal. They were kicking the puck into their own net. Literally full on shooting at their own goal. Crashing their own net... brutal.

    I play position locked on center, by the way. That's why the shot was taken by a CPU teammate.

    Any tips on beating Auston Matthews' team in the Pro-Am?

    Maybe I just suck, but I'm having a terrible time trying to beat this team. I've tried using a speedy Defenseman to outsmart some of the AI, but they keep up with me regardless of my speed stats. I've tried a balanced Offense/Defense Winger, but that didn't work either. No matter what type of player I pick, my guys always pass poorly/don't shoot/turn the puck over 5/6 times down the ice and Matthews and crew can skate around my checks and poke checks without repercussion. It's starting to turn into controller-throwing season over here...

    Do Be A Pro sliders NOT affect sim?

    In my latest BAP season, I wanted to have a pretty average year (60-80 pts). In my 6 year career I've never had a season above 81 points. Most of that was intentional, as I like to have realistic seasons as I find BAP to be an absolute joke in terms of difficulty, even playing on superstar. If I tried I could cap 100 in a rookie season on superstar. I'm not saying this out of arrogance, it's really just painfully easy.

    Last season, I turned down every slider that would make me a good player. This includes everything under the passing tab, shooting, and puck control. All zero for human. I simmed pretty much all of the season and I ended up with 40-65—105 and my team had 50(?) wins and won presidents trophy.

    I'm willing to bet that that season is the season you're "supposed" to win the cup in the BAP timeline, seeing as I breezed through every playoff round PURELY by simming. If this is the case it would negate all sliders as it's something EA wanted to happen.

    So, are sliders supposed to affect sim? It sounds like a silly question but in previous seasons I would turn everything under the shooting tab to zero for human (i love assists) and would still be notching goals at a good pace.

    Improving EASHL ping help?

    Hi there

    I am playing in a league for EASHL and noticed that some other guys in the league are playing with ping in the 10s and 20s every game. I am usually around 60.

    Any advice for lowering mine? I live in Alberta. Is it because there is no server close by? I have very good internet so that can't be the problem.

    Brent Burns neck tattoo from the facial scan shows up faintly in the game (apparently since nhl 19). Noticed he had a blotch on his neck and zoomed in closer then looked it up..
