Posted: 28 Feb 2021 07:25 AM PST Does anyone know how long it usually takes for EA to add new jerseys to the game? Sharks just played their first game with the anniversary jersey this year so i'm hoping to see it in the game soon. If i'm not mistaken they have already added all the other new jerseys for each team this season, but since they never added these jerseys when sharks last wore them back in 2015-16 i am bit worried they won't be added for whatever reason. Posted: 28 Feb 2021 08:57 AM PST 1s is a pretty fun game mode just to screw around and practice but my God do people love taking the life out of the game with boring play styles. In general, one of the big detriments of EASHL 3s and 1s is the greased up deaf guy, hesitating and twirling until someone commits to one side, style of play. It's not really difficult to defend but holy shit does it make the game boring. EASHL is infinitely better when people are actually trying to make plays instead of just trying to lull your opponent to sleep. [link] [comments] |
NHL 22 Idea- Ratings + Attributes Posted: 27 Feb 2021 05:29 PM PST I wanna start about by saying I'm a huge roster editor and Franchise mode type guy. I play HUT and EASHL too but I care a lot about the quality of rosters from the NHL, AHL, CHL, SHL, etc. I try to have the most realistic simulations as possible I think a very nice addition to NHL 22 would be to add more to player attributes to help distinguish the players more. When controlling these players, I truly don't feel like I'm being an agitator with guys like Matt Tkachuk or Ryan Reaves for example. 1) I think there needs to be "tendencies" in nhl for attributes. Tendencies such as shooting, passing, hitting, blocking shots, etc. There needs to be more separation for all these players. David Pastrnak is a 40-50 goal scorer in the NHL, but EA's sim engine registers him more as a 20-30 goal scorer with a bunch of assist totals. There's gotta be ways to edit player tendencies 2) There's truly no separation for player types as well. Do you REALLY feel a difference controlling a grinder player in Dustin Brown vs a skill player? Both types can still dangle, snipe, all that good stuff. I'd LOVE it if they add like an X-Factor type thing for certain players. Wouldn't it be fun to legitimately agitate opponents with Matt Tkachuk or Brad Marchand? Or a PP X-Factor when guys like Ovi or Pastrnak are on the ice? I'm just spit balling examples. My point is, having these tendencies and x-factors can help distinguish a ton of players for gameplay AND sim engine. It just makes me curious whenever I sim in franchise mode, are my grinders really making a grinder impact? Are my power forwards really out there making a power forward impact? Let me know your thoughts- base it off my ideas, add more ideas, or anything you feel that can help distinguish players in future NHL titles. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 27 Feb 2021 10:18 PM PST have started playing 2k8 for the ps2 again and after one franchise season i can tell you if you like franchise mode 2k games from 15 years ago although basic give current EA games a good run for being fun, keep in mind my first season naslund wins the ross with 108 points while netting 53 goals,of which 31 were ppg, matthew barnaby leads manitoba with 83 points, tying dan girardi for team lead in goals with 25,20 year old kris letang is a plus 51,that's not even getting into pekka rinne going 48-14 with 11 shutouts, this is what i mean,in terms of simming engine this is stuff you don't see on EA's current day games without tweaking the hell out of sliders [link] [comments] |
