| Be A Pro Tip: Start Your Player in Europe for Additional Training Posted: 26 Feb 2021 06:43 PM PST Not sure if this has been posted before but I was messing around on Be A Pro and made a new player in the Champions Hockey League. We got knocked out in the first round, so I had basically all of December 2019-August 2020 to do additional training every Sunday. Rather than starting as a defensive defenseman at a 71 Overall I came into the NHL as a 75 Overall. Obviously the downside is that you're most likely going to be drafted by the Rangers or Kings. Just thought it was worth sharing. I always hated coming into the NHL with a low rating and this is a good way to boost your rating and gain some additional trait points relatively easily. The next day is when EA Play would normally start for an NHL game. I mean it's a bit better then doc and Eddie but the one thing I liked about them is they made it feel authentic. James cybulski doesn't call games in real life so they just have what they recorded. | Posted: 26 Feb 2021 02:46 PM PST I wonder if this is happening consistently to others: I tried to play three separate drop-in 3's games today (haven't played in about a week). Every game the screen shows the highlights of the first period (can't skip) and then the screen fades to black like normal but the intermission options screen never appears. Then I get the "waiting for other players to resume" in the top right of the black screen with crowd noise. Nothing happens until enough people turn off their console to end the game and it awards RP and EXP like normal. I mean, it's hard enough to find an acceptable lobby at the best of times, now I get one period and roll the dice that it's the other team who quits first. Sick game, EA. [link] [comments] |
