    Quick 6v5 at lunch

    Managed to get into a 6v5 game at lunch which is very rare, and even better it was a competitive game. Sitting at 2-1 heading into the first intermission, but we never make it to the second period. The game counts down the intermission timer, and we get stuck at "Waiting for all users to resume".

    This happens at least once a week...

    That and the puck magically stopping on the corner boards and a whole bunch of other issues they've never bothered to fix.

    Will probably still buy NHL22 tho

    Mercy Rule

    Why has EA not implemented a mercy rule? I don't understand why I have to suffer in games where there's an obvious mismatch. It's not really fun for everyone. I just played a guy in HUT who was up 8-1 on me halfway through the second and we both dropped our remotes for the rest of the game. I think 8 goals is a reasonable place to call it.

    Online versus is just cross-crease simulator and it feels awful

    Just started playing a week ago. I'm 16-10. My wins come from landing more cross crease passes than my opponent. My losses come from me covering the cross crease but the puck still sliding right through 3 defenders. Its just sad. I'm sad i gave EA money. We should all be.

    1st overall pick won't sign with me in franchise mode on 21

    He's a franchise winger that I offered an entry-level contract right after the draft and he refused saying he won't take a 2 way contract lol so I tried again but it has to be a two way contract and the regular season has already started without him even responding to the latest contract offer..

    Is this Eric Lindros all over again or is it bugging?

    When I switch to d-man he makes a stride toward puck and leaves passing lane

    Everyone says keep the defender in the passing lane, but when I change to a player he starts taking strides toward the puck carrier and I have to stop him and then go to the passing lane, which is usually too late. Any idea why this is happening? I have auto back skate off too.

    Also just my daily rant that I can't skate with the puck without getting it poked away and somehow their offense just skates through me like I'm swiss cheese.

    What are your average BAP grades on your main player? What position/play style are they?

    My character is a Defensive Defenseman. I'm somewhere in the mid 70s in games played so far and have around 35-40 points. I think I have just under 10 goals or just over. I usually average a B for offense, A- or B+ on defense, and an A or A+ depending on if I get into a fight and if I take a penalty.

    Can you watch AI games in franchise mode instead of controlling?
