Have you scored on a Black Screen penalty shot attempt?! Posted: 05 Mar 2021 12:01 AM PST Yo boys, who else is loving the new Occasional Black Screen Blind Penalty Shot feature in EASHL? Very innovative thinking from EA to introduce this new challenge 👍🏾 Anyway I've been timing my cheese penalty shot move and tried over and over to score it blind when I am blessed with a Black Screen penalty shot in WoC.... still no luck. Anybody potted one blind? Any tips for the homies you want to share? [link] [comments] |
NHL 21 is the worst NHL game since NHL 15 Posted: 04 Mar 2021 02:39 PM PST We all know how infamous NHL 15 is so I don't think it's an overexaggerating when I say NHL 21 is the worst game since '15. Start the difficulty settings. It's been said before but why can I play on pro and win 10-0 even with the CPU difficulty set to full, but transition to All-Star with CPU difficulty to 0, and lose 5-2. Like classic EA fashion, my goalie doesn't matter. Could be 79 overall or 97 overall, he is going to give up 5 goals on 8 shots. Goal scoring is another gripe I have. I am so unbelievably tired of scoring on 2 on 1s. Cross crease passes all game. In my sliders have the goalies turned up for all the goalie sliders, I have all the player speeds matching, yet I'm constantly blowing by the AI. I mentioned goal scoring but that's if I can even make a pass. The amount of times I expect a puck to go where I am aiming it just for it to go flying down the ice or into the back of the player. I know manual passing can be tricky to master but I feel like even when I can execute a pass, the opposing AI is there to snatch it up. General bugs and annoyances also have broken my spirit. Why does it always feel like when I go to take a shot on goal or clear the puck it is my player in the way? I go to clear the puck, bam, slapshot to the back of my forward. I go to take a shot on net? Bam, 2 forwards in the front of the net blocking my shot, my own forwards! Today I turned my xbox off in the middle of game because my forward skated into my goalie and put the puck up making it 3-1 for the opposing team. I just knew there was no coming back from that one. Also, what the f is up with the AI in this game? I feel like no matter what I set my line strats to, once I enter the offensive zone I am immediately hounded by the opposing AI with my teammates skating on my ass or hanging out in the worst possible place on the ice. All I see is my teammates standing still beside the boards, not moving. When they are moving, they're in the most out of position place they can be. The opposing AI just clogs up any chance to make a pass in the offensive zone so I end up losing possession because I threw it on net or got bullied off the puck. There are countless more things I could complain about but frankly, we all know they exist and we're probably all tired of hearing about them for the past countless years. I just needed to vent more than anything. I used to have so much fun playing since Chel '02 but since it moved to Xbox One it has just been an abomination. And this is coming from a guy who regularly plays Warzone. [link] [comments] |
Tracking my progress through spreadsheets Posted: 04 Mar 2021 08:46 PM PST So, in an effort to provide some enjoyment and just a general change of pace from the monotonous grind of HUT, I started playing some online versus games yesterday instead. I noticed that the gameplay feels way different so I had the idea of essentially playing an entire season and keeping track of all my stats along the way. I plan on playing 82 games and through 5 games so far I have kept track of every stat the game will show me after finishing a game (ice time, shots, points, hits etc etc). I didn't look to see if anyone has ever done something similar but I would like to hear some input from others on maybe some general rules/parameters on how I should be keeping track (For example, through 5 games I had 1 player quit early in the first, I am open to suggestions on things like a time threshold that needs to be met to count that game/stats, ya feel me?) Any input would be appreciated; Any interest in seeing final numbers or progress updates is also welcome. Basic info: Playing as Toronto All games are online ranked versus I don't plan on quitting out of any games (regardless of the beating I may be receiving😂) I will be cycling goalies every few games, as well as trying to use as close to the real time line up as I can. Cheers, Go Leafs lol [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Mar 2021 04:57 PM PST If I didn't have a HUT team do those packs I got just go away? I don't see any. [link] [comments] |
