I can’t score at all in BAP… Posted: 06 Mar 2021 10:30 AM PST Seem to be having a issue with be a pro, I can't seem to score no matter what I try. Every shot that beats the goaltender hits a invisible wall on the goal line? Even when shooting on a empty net, the puck loses all momentum and freezes on the goal line not counting as a goal. I've already tried making new save files/re downloaded the game but whenever I get to game 10 in the NHL the game doesn't let me score anymore. Has anyone else come across this bug and now a way to fix it? I'm not too sure on where to go from here. submitted by /u/throwaway4mythroway [link] [comments]

Why have they made Be A Pro so much easier? Posted: 05 Mar 2021 02:21 PM PST It's actually hard to not go first or second overall unless you're a goalie and play like straight ass meat the entire memorial cup/Champions hockey league shit. Even simulating the memorial cup as an enforcer D-Man still scored nearly a goal per game. They removed the CHL season option which I loved having a bigger sample size and actually being able to go in the 2nd or 3rd round. Playing as a goalie, I let in 6 goals per game, with a below 800 save percentage, and am still getting consistent starts, it's impossible to not make the nhl even getting D- overall every preseason game, it's impossible to not do good. submitted by /u/TheBreadMan42069 [link] [comments]

Shouldn't have added the speedster trait in world of Chel... Posted: 05 Mar 2021 04:08 PM PST Now everyone has to have it to compete. I understand it lowers acceleration by 3, but to consider a playmaker, sniper, dangler build, will still have more acceleration than a DFD, TWD, Grinder. So you aren't losing a step on the cycle, only gaining more top end speed on those builds. This essential forces everyone to have a pmd build, as offensive defenseman just doesn't have any defensive stats to compete with the passing attributes of a playmaker or pmd and will get watch lots of passes go right by as interceptions aren't as much about positioning, as long as you're facing the play, as it is luck. There is no pass intercept button or manual way to intercept, only ea letting you. So with no skill gap, you must increase your odds by boosting defensive awareness. So now you're gonna have alot of sub 90 def awareness guys floating around on defense , to compete with speedster, a playmaker with 90 plus off awareness and passing forcing everything successfully. Speed is a massive balance factor that ea has clearly over looked . By adding an ability that gives +3 to speed , when your best defensive builds are slugs . Yes I understand a simple bump from a bigger player is usually a possession lost, but its like playing against a swarm of wasps, first you gotta catch him , then when you do , he'll have support flying in, they'll be able to play a faster game, and dump and chase is now more effective, they'll be able to stay in your face better, make up a misses step better. Back check better... Let's just get rid of speedster trait. Also there was a patch in 2018 , when builds were fixed, I believe the third patch in, that increased defensemans ability to intercept pucks in the defensive zone to encourage people to use defensive builds in the back end, ea refuses to answer if this is still true or not... I waited to start a be a pro so I could get realistic rosters. I've finally started get drafted by the rangers obviously but they are my favorite team so I'm happy. Till I look at the lines and half our defense and bottom 6 forwards are missing.
