I'm sure this question has been asked before, but since I'm new, I figured I'd ask anyways. I'm curious as to what you all are thinking about the potential covers. I was a little disappointed with the Ovechkin cover for 21, in terms of quality and also that we had a Ovechkin once before. I'm also assuming they wouldn't repeat teams too often (within a 5 year window, even though Toews and Kane were like back-to-back), as to why I don't have Draisaitl on my list, although he's very deserving.

In terms of my preference (I'm a Rangers fan) I'd probably go in this order:

Panarin
Mackinnon
Hellebyuck (since its been a while since we've had a goalie on the cover)
Svechnikov
Hedman/Vasilevsky

I'm curious to hear your thoughts and what other players you think deserve to get the nod. I know they do regional covers, but this is just assuming the "main" North American version of the game.

Draft class settings?

What do the "Generated Prospect Quality" and "Draft Class Quality" settings mean exactly? Is one for the quality of the first round and the other of the quality of rounds 2-7?

I know EA usually has very few guys in the later rounds that have any chance of becoming good or stars but the NHL Draft is super random so I'd like to have a lot of Elite Lows in later rounds but keep the first round normal (except for 2021 in which I've created the Top 10).

Custom masks and pads

i dont know the correct tag for this, so my bad

Fellow goalies,

How do yall feel for a option to create our own masks and pads? We see goalies on teams all the time having their own mask and pads.

What i thought would be a good solution is that we combine the system of franchise, (picking specific logos and letters that are pre-existing) and the customization tool from Army Of Two: Devils Cartel. Or hell, the Forza games.

And with EA going back to a story drivin (i guess) BaP, we can use the money we earn from our salarys and endorsments to pay for these pads and masks.
