Thoughts On NHL21 After One Day Of Playing Posted: I see a lot of hate in this group for NHL 21. I just got it yesterday and I think it's a marked improvement from NHL 19, which I have played for 2 years. Here are my thougts on how it's improved and how it's worse: Improvements:
Issues:
Let me know what I'm right about or what I've missed completely... I'm interested to hear what the community has to say. [link] [comments] |
Is anyone getting consistent lag when playing online? Posted: Haven't run into this issue until yesterday, but I wanted to see if I'm the only one dealing with it -- my ping is horrible every game. Internet speeds are consistently 100mbps, I'm running a LAN connection, and no other online games are giving me issues. But every game of NHL I've played, whether it's regular versus or EASHL drop ins, I'm getting unplayable stutters. It's not the normal lag, where the game freezes for a few seconds then speeds up, but a more stuttering effect that lasts for 3-4 seconds at a time. Anyone else? Or is it just me? [link] [comments] |
Suggestions for bad CPUs in Club Posted: So before anyone says the obvious (and hilarious) answer of just get more friends and run 6s, thats not really an option for us. That said, we have a compy RW right now that almost always runs it up the boards, stops when the other team gets near, and loses the puck. I can't tell you how many times I've watched this happen now. I've tried being there as an outlet, etc. It doesnt seem to matter. It also was always the same CPU player for 3 games last night, so I got to watch this happen constantly. Any tips to keep the cpu from being dumb? Obviously calling for a pass could help but when the slow, dumb cpu carries the puck hes usually surround front, side and rear as he skates into the zone. Hes also somehow the only one open when we begin the rush, so the other comp typically passes to him as well (RD). Maybe I have a setting wrong or something? Tell me your secrets! Thanks in advance! Posted: Anyone know exactly when it's expected to be released on the game pass? Only thing I've been able to find is that it's being released in "April" [link] [comments] |

This community rejuvenated my enjoyment of this game. Posted: So a few days ago I posted a rather angry (and slightly drunk) post about why I was getting very very agitated at the lack of scoring. Since then I took advice onboard, move to play as a solo player and I am smashing them in. Tons of practice and the puck is on and in the net, so thank you EA_NHL subreddit. [link] [comments] |
Posted: Just wondering what the rule is for EA to put these guys in the game. As an Avs fan im excited for Newhook (so I dont have to create him). Does he have to play a game in the AHL, and then just wait for a new roster update? [link] [comments] |
