| Posted: 14 May 2021 03:28 PM PDT Playing franchise mode on NHL 21 has made me realize how incredibly dumb the CPU is for this game. The last NHL game I had was NHL 18. The CPU in that game was not good, at times kind of annoying. But dear lord, NHL 18 CPU is somehow better than the CPU in NHL 21. I sometimes like to let the CPU play games in franchise mode just to see how the team plays without me controlling. The CPU will pull some of the dumbest plays I have ever seen. They'll deke when it's not called for, pass when no one is open, shoot when there is no clear shooting lane, etc... A kindergartener can play better than this incompetent CPU. EA Sports has slowly stopped caring about the general gameplay. It's disheartening to see this series slowly follow the same route as Madden games. [link] [comments] |
