| Posted: 13 May 2021 09:28 AM PDT I've spent months trying to learn this damn position. It's impossible to consistently post a .930+ season without simming. I haven't even had one, tbh. Even if you turn cpu shot and aggression down and your human goalie stats to 100, you will still get cheese goals. With those sliders, you should be posting shutouts every game, with only the oddball goals going in. Terrible positioning requirements in this game for goalies. Terrible reaction timing needed. You're basically guessing whether to square up for a shot or to panic slide to the far post for that cross crease. Terrible game design on this one. And it would be really easy to fix. Just add a auto-aim style positioning help and a desperation save slow-motion like MLB The Show's Showtime function. And BAP goalies get no in game challenges and progress far more slowly, almost as if the design team didn't really care much about goalies. We just can't play a goalie like this. Too frustrating. This morning I popped on to check out the Weekly Challenges, which weren't available and then when I tried to play 1's or 3's, I got an error to check my game and system didn't require new updates (they didn't and are up to date.) What players almost always simulate well in the regular season? What guys are playoff performers? What guys do both? What are goalies i should target if I want to have a good regular? Posted: 12 May 2021 11:50 PM PDT Not saying they're cheating, but something seems to have them skate faster than their enormous size should allow and never miss a shot from inside of center ice. Some kind of weird advantage. If this is programmed into the game somehow then I really don't understand why. [link] [comments] |
