    First...You aren't good enough to be on the first line. I understand that. They try you at different positions which I totally understand. But when you're performing well and get to the first line...WHY THE FCK would you put them at a different position? It's so stupid. Killing it at lw? Making it to the 1st line? Here's the rw gig! Oh btw you're rw is a 90 overall and your current lw is only a 75. But since youre a 73, you can't be the lw. But hey you can have the rw spot over the 90 overall...makes no God damn sense. It's like they find new ways to fck stuff up every year in every sports game

    Has anyone tried playing GM mode online using remote play on PS4/PS5?

    My brother, dad and I used to get together every weekend to play some hockey and we would manage a team together on GM mode. I moved away a couple years ago and we've stopped this tradition sadly.

    It has come to my attention that there is a PlayStation remote play feature so you can play local coop online. I wish EA just added online support to GM mode but that doesn't exist so I was thinking maybe this will let us continue that tradition.

    My brief experience with the remote play on the PS4 was subpar. There were some latency issues. My brother and I own PS5 now and we're hoping that maybe the experience has improved.

    Has anyone tried doing this that can provide some feedback on the experience?

    I don't live that far so distance shouldn't be much of an issue.

    AI magically stealing pucks from behind has completely ruined Chel for me

    Chel has been my favorite sports game for over 10 years now. I've owned every edition of the game since NHL 10 and have poured thousands of hours into getting "good" at it. I cracked the top 100 in PS4 online versus in NHL 18, 19, and 20, and prior to that I had consistently been div 2 or higher in HUT.

    Point is, I'm not complaining just because I'm bad at the game.

    NHL 21 has a glitch that has completely sucked the fun out of the game for me. Whether you believe it or not, ice tilt has always existed in the game. The main way you could usually tell it's tilted was when one teams AI would be hyper aggressive in stealing pucks. However, a player with enough skill could overcome this by patiently working the puck around until you found an open man.

    Well apparently EA caught on to the fact that good players were winning games they weren't "supposed" to win, so they ramped up AI pass interceptions to a ridiculously broken degree. If you try to pass to a player who has two or three steps on his defender, the AI defender will defy physics and magnetize himself from behind the guy who beat him back into position before the pass reaches the target.

    This issue has become so rampant since the latest patch that the game is simply unplayable. Basically this glitch negates the advantages of making smarter and quicker decisions than your opponent and gives the AI freedom to dictate when you will get scoring opportunities.
