    How much, if any, of ESPN’s (and/or Turner’s) production will EA use in NHL 22?

    First I want to clarify that I am primarily a Switch owner and have a pretty dated PC rig so I'm highly doubtful that I'll be playing NHL 22 in any fashion. The last iteration of EA NHL I've played was probably NHL08 or 09 on the Xbox 360, so I'm out of the loop.

    But I was just considering the fact that ESPN (and Turner) acquired the rights a few months ago and realized that EA has had the luxury of using basically the same overlays, graphics, personalities, et al. since NBC started broadcasting the NHL all the way back in 2005. What's interesting to consider as well is that EA's main competition for years prior to the lockout was the ESPN-branded NHL2K series by Sega; is there any acrimony there?

    I've also seen rumors that NHL is moving to the Frostbite engine. An engine change, plus potentially integrating a new "broadcast" production…sounds like a lot for one development cycle. I'm curious to see just how much EA can get done by September, if not October.

    Boys, I'm hoping they completely overhauled the box style menu for 22. It's so unappealing and garbage at this point I think I puke a little in my mouth every time I start up the game.

    Decreasing the scoring during sim in Be A Pro mode

    In my Be A Pro, it seems like there are a lot of goals being scored while I am simming in between my shifts. My games average much higher scores than most games. Is there a way to decrease this at all?

    Pack probability questions

    I got this game a few days ago after having owned NHL 14 and 18

    So I saved up 45'750 credits to buy the Team of the Week pack ( I find it fun compared to buying off the Market).

    That is the most amount of money I had ever saved up but I thought it to be worth the value as it stated to have 13 items and UP to 8 players as well as a Team of the Week player. However the biggest draw was its probability of receiving players above a certain OVR range, here are the numbers:

    77+ 99%

    80+ 92%

    83+ 68%

    86+ 47%

    90+ 21%

    I received 8 players, but they were absolutely garbage:

    78 TotW

    80

    78

    77

    74

    74

    74

    69

    I was wondering if this is normal, or if those probabilities only applied to the TotW player. Either way, the probabilities of this seems astronomically low and a huge waste.

    Has anyone else opened this pack with better stuff because I don't know how this could ever justify the price.

    Title says it all. There's the option in the current one to have a conversation with the GM but the only option I've seen is to request a trade. You should be able to have more options. Similar to how players will complain about the coach, or how the team needs better defense, or goaltending in franchise mode. If you're the team captain making 12 million a year, you should be able to pull a Jack Eichel and go to the GM to persuade him about possible changes. Like the skill tree is in the game, but what's the point of leveling it up if it only has 2 uses?

    And also, let us view other teams lines. Not that hard to do I'm sure.

    New to playing goalie and need help. (Be a pro)

    Hi all, ive always played as a defenceman the last few weeks ive tried making a goalie but i have been absolutely shelled in every game ive played, ive gone into practice mode and have done fine with CHL goalies of similar overalls and ive even tried playing games with NHL teams vs CHL teams playing as the CHL goalie with decent games, i dont understand id appreciate any help, thanks! Also my PSN is Diesel_brookah for anyone looking to play eashl.

    Can you fight as a goalie in NHL 21 career mode

    I know when I made my character there was like a slider for like fighter that said never sometimes often and always or something like that so I was looking forward to doing that but the only time I've experienced fighting in this game was in playoff mode I go the game two days ago so I don't know much about it
