- I think EA makes you open the bags because they want you to appreciate that they’re not charging you to unlock stuff. Ridiculous we have to manually go through all of this.
| NHL 20 Roster Update - October 10th Posted: 11 Oct 2019 08:27 AM PDT Just a heads up, the roster update modified the NHL rosters to be accurate, right down to Namestnikov (Namestanktinoff - 2BC) being on Senators roster. Keep in mind the AHL is not updated, and I'm hearing guys like Adam Boqvist are currently removed from this update until the AHL papers are signed, so hold off from your franchise modes if you waited for this Update to be your Franchise Mode rosters. Additionally, you will find that 2021 through 2022 draft eligibles have been modified and added. The likes of Clarke, Othmann, Wright, and Savoie have been added, as well has Aatu Raty now has a High Elite potential (Which is a little excessive). In order to not have your hopes up, keep in mind the AHL update comes along mid-November. [link] [comments] |

It stunts their growth, and I no longer draft Canadians now unless they're NHL ready or 1 year away. [link] [comments] |
| Input delay - am I the only one? Posted: 11 Oct 2019 11:36 AM PDT This game is currently unplayable for me. I have a wired connection on fiber internet and the input delay is the worst that I've ever experienced. I don't think I'm the only one but this is the worst gaming experience I've had in any game. I've purchased every NHL for the last decade and cannot remember a games input delay being so poor. I have 15ms ping every game, yet it takes a full second+ before my guy reacts to the buttons that I'm pressing. I'm at a loss for how to improve this. This includes players that were in the CHL last year. EDIT: looks like a few changes to ratings but only on players in the NHL, not prospects. I hate to bitch but Jesus Christ the other teams ai defenders step up, hit, poke and stick lift. Meanwhile my team just constantly backskates and literally applies no pressure what so ever. Have a goalie I drafted and developed and he has a Ducks mask, my team is the Canucks, he was never on the Ducks that is just the default "team" mask that the game uses. [link] [comments] |
| Menus making NHL 20 unplayable (Xbox One) Posted: 10 Oct 2019 11:03 PM PDT Been trying for the past two hours to load into an online World of Chel game, but everytime I get sent to the loadout screen, the A button and B button aren't responsive, and all I can do is check the weekly objectives and I have to try to get back to the main menu. Was wondering if anyone is having these same issues as I tried playing online shootout mode too with the same problem. Been having no trouble at all with any other games involving the A and B buttons. I don't know if these menus are just really slow but ATM this game is frustrating the hell out of me. | How to add created prospects to Franchise Mode (And keep them for future updates) Posted: 10 Oct 2019 02:35 PM PDT This is for those who do not know how to get a prospect to show up on teams assets in NHL 20. - Create your player, make their contract 2 Way, 3 years, $0.925M - Do not assign to a team - Once players are made, go to Roster Movement and find them in Free Agency, then add them to CHL teams (This does not take up a contract spot as there is now CHL slots available) - If a roster update comes out (Like the one tomorrow), use Merge Rosters to move your created players to the new roster so that you don't have to restart them.
