So what actually happened to this game with the update Posted: 07 Nov 2019 09:55 AM PST Mainly an online versus guy. Played from launch date, then didn't play at all for a few weeks. Now I came back and installed a patch/update and it seems like scoring is at least 50% easier. Defense feels worse than before and the defensive skill-stick in particular seems to be more risky and less effective in takeaways and interceptions, and goalies are idiots. Shots go in, top shelf far-side, from ridiculous angles, but my main issue is goalies totally sucking at the near post - if you have enough room to do a basic forehand-backhand or backhand-forehand deke at the post, you'll probably score as the goalie moves away from the post. I don't think it was quite this easy before, maybe in the beta it was? Every time a guy knows the shortside deke, he either scores a couple of goals with that OR I take it away and he gets space for the cross-crease, and these games are constant 6-5, 7-6, 8-5 wins or something like that. Has there been any explanation for this? Is it just the usual issue of people complaining about scoring being too difficult so they make it easier to appeal to the casual or beginner players? (Yeah I know, I'm just not good enough and I should learn to play, watch hockey etc.) [link] [comments] |

Posted: 06 Nov 2019 06:46 PM PST Or did NBCSN choose a very similar style and font to their graphic package after EA cut ties? It's very weird to see. [link] [comments] |
