Posted: 14 Jan 2020 12:41 PM PST So we're running a simulation league and I can't figure out how to get fights to happen in the CPU vs CPU games for the life of me. Who wouldn't want to see fights in a sim league?! Has anyone had any success with this in the past? Are there any particular settings or sliders that anyone knows of that could force fighting between CPU teams. [link] [comments] |

CHEL 6's Wingers...help your Defense help you! Posted: 13 Jan 2020 01:08 PM PST Running into way too many wingers who think playing defense means flying around the net trying to block shots from the point, or flying back down right at their defender who just took the puck away and tried to pass it up. Look, I know your heart is in the right place, but you're not. If you're down low competing with your defense for the puck...who are you going to pass it to? If you're down there and they manage it to send it back up to the point where you should have been, who's there to intercept the pass, or disrupt their shot? If your defense has the puck, and you're flying at them in a full sprint when they pass it to you, you're going to end up right back in their face and lose the damned thing again. Playing defense as a winger means staying north of your D and guarding the point. When you're down low in front of the net and trying to block shots, you're just trying to block the shots of the guy you're suppose to be covering, not to mention you're probably just getting in the way of your actual defense. Stay in between your defense and the guy at the point. This gives your D an outlet pass once they have the puck, and prevents the other team from increasing their TOA and shots. Help us help you! I think I’ve officially peaked in EASHL... Posted: 13 Jan 2020 07:14 PM PST |
Posted: 14 Jan 2020 04:27 AM PST So this morning I was playing a game online and the other guy almost always made the goal off a shot and it would be the top left corner. It didn't matter where he was or anything it would go in constantly. Is this broken or just pure luck? [link] [comments] |

Playing keep away in online versus? Posted: 13 Jan 2020 07:15 PM PST This seems to be a new trend in VS lately. Opponent goes up by a goal or two then just keeps the puck in his own zone skating and passing around until he can get an odd man rush or just kill as much time as possible. For example a dude I was playing went up 2-0 in the first and just kept playing keep away the entire rest of the game. Next game I was up so in the 3rd I did the same thing all period and yup it sure as hell works. I will also use this "strategy" against people who were trying to do the same and I get the lead but it's just not a very fun way to play the game. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and whether you feel the same. It seems like almost everyone I play is doing this now, so maybe I'm the minority here? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 13 Jan 2020 04:56 PM PST The game is broke. Ever since about a month ago, I haven't been able to complete a full game. Clock resets. Disconnects. Doesn't matter if I'm playing drop ins or club. I love playing hockey games but I'm really debating picking up the next one. It's truly a waste of time and money. Anyone else have these problems?
