- I thought I was going to the bench but then the puck hit me so I panicked and mashed the right stick and ended up scoring. I had no idea what I was doing.

- Goalie bats the puck in himself and it’s waved no goal. But I guess giving up a no goal means you get yanked. Seems legit.

| Why doesn't EA implement a pre-game warmup for Be a Pro/CHEL Posted: 12 Jan 2020 06:33 PM PST It doesn't have to be a long warmup, literally just like a 30 sec to 1 minute period where you can warm up(skate around the ice, take shots on your net/goalie. If your a goalie, you can take take on a couple of shots. NBA 2k has had this implemented in their be a pro(my career) and chel(the rec) type modes for a while [link] [comments] |

Their big brother came home and wanted to create a player too but did so logged in to his own account. Any way to share created players between accounts, or copy them? | How to deal with opposing AI crowding out the net? Posted: 13 Jan 2020 10:14 AM PST I don't really play a lot, but whenever I do play(nhl19) I find that the AI on the other team does defence by just having 3-4 people crowd in front of the net, and whoever's left will go a little bit wider just to continue to crowd out the area. This makes shooting any good shot with a forward really difficult cause they have nowhere to shoot from unless they start on one with of the rink and pull across to the other before shooting, which is a pretty low % shot unless I have a sniper. This isn't costing me games, but it's not at all like playing hockey, it just feels like the AI found a way to block a quarter of shots and does that. [link] [comments] |

I'm on the penalty killer team but whenever they're coming down from their end to mine I can't see where my guy is and I almost gave up a power-play goal because of it. He ended up being right behind the goalie inside the net. Considering I'm a defensive man I don't want to be chasing the puck because then they could lead to an odd man rush. [link] [comments] |

| How do entry level players compete in world of chel? Posted: 12 Jan 2020 10:09 PM PST Literally every player is bigger, faster, stronger, and has more stamina than mine. Like I won a face off and the center just skated around me, picked it up, and basically blew passed the defenseman to get a goal. Another time I was skating toward my goalie (not back skating, facing my goalie) and the dude came out from wide and had a breakaway. His speed just blew me out of the water. The law of physics states I should've beat him there by a country mile. Le sigh. Also, why does forehand/backhand work every time for a goal? And how is every poke check a trip? I'm two games in and wow this is so obnoxious. I got a goal in my second game on literally accident (crashed goalie and he dropped it and it rolled in). How the hell do I raise my stats and actually compete with these people? Cuz so far about all I can do is back check super early and maybe pull off a decent defensive move. No hits I do register, I move so sluggishly it's embarrassing, and I might as well not even be there. I'm 2 games in and I'm already tired of being fodder for sweaties scoring the exact same goal every time (cross ice one timer or backhand/forehand deke). Does this ever get fun? [link] [comments] |
